Ok whats with the lag on era?

dunno but its crazy I was playing with old school gui and no npcs :P

I closed Era down for now. People keep trying to drop/trade items and are losing them. They won't take no for an answer so I made it staff only until the lag fixes.

because of the lag I can't make the server staff only. it isn't doing anything on login.

Its kinda annoying, For the players and even the staff. That this only happens on Era.

But whats with the lag? like other servers dont lag at all.. its era that lags..

This happens way too often. Why isn't Icarus doing something about this?

I haven't hardly seen Icarus on.

This is so goddamn annoying dude. And not even valid in this case. As far as I have noticed, this is not even a script issue, but one with the custom gserver/npc server/whatever.

And Crow, I am not asking for YOUR opinion, because I know you'll side with staff, that'd be the smartest thing to do, so I am not criticizing you.

I RARELY see Icarus on, and he talks to NO ONE. He's really a lazy pumpkin...Icarus's Era and Jenn's Era are very similar.

Why was Dem fired?

Because Demisis was accused for not answering PMs.

No? He always answered PM's. It just took him some time. He recieved like 50 PM's in every 30 mins.. If it isnt more.

No, actually he did. You'd think as a, let me emphasize this, MANANGER they'd be getting PMs out the ass by players seeing that there's always some problem the players are crying about. So of course he isn't going to reply the second you send it.

It was like that for just about every manager. I'm pretty sure they don't answer to dumb questions like " BUFF TEH M16 PLZ!!11" "CAN I HAV A BIZNESS??!1" "WHEN 1S TEH RES3T??!"

Its hard for staff to answer every pm, I was on RC on Atrius the other day when it went hosted and I was getting spammed with pms and there was only like 20 people on, and its not staffs fault for the lag, It was something done serverside which they have no control over.

My idea of "Staff" and "Player Relations" solves this, in my opinion. There is no need for a "Manager".

I still think staff don't need to wear a tag, unless they need people to know they are staff (e.g. they need god mode for testing).

Notice I said "accused." He answered my PM's in less than let's say 2-3 minutes TOPS

I would really like to know who the actual "accusers" are. I noticed that when ever a staff member is getting complaints from these "accusers" not many people know who the hell they are or if their opinion really matters; not saying it's you. I don't think staff should get removed because of the player's opinion seeing that none of them have the slightest clue about what's going on behind RC. The only physical work you can see outside of RC are levels; LATs.

I can say that Dem answered all of my PMs. Speaking from experience, Id be lucky to get a reply from any other manager or high up staff member that I can think of.

And I was really looking forward to "Dems era". He's a hard worker and has a bunch of amazing ideas, that I think would have taken era in the right direction.
Something about his whole removal from manager smells a bit fishy to me.

Well we're working with Icarus for now. So until Icarus messes up we can't really go on a rant...yet.

Just a question, Dont me mad at me if i am wrong.. But is Icarus even active/doing anything... ?
I dont see him alot on Era, And when he is online he never answer my PM's. Even if they are serious.

Players != Top Priority

Just because he doesn't respond doesn't mean he's not reading them. You pm me all the time, and I read them all...they're just never worth responding to.

Some of them are serious.. But u dont take them serious (@Sales)
