In your early childhood memories you could always reminisce about house... Close to a small lake, a small forest beneath.
You think that you renember a person of many years, that used to read books, telling fantastic stories of a world, far far away from here and now, further then anyone could imagine.

...

You grow older. The years vain... and one day, you awake.
With your eyes full of slumber, a terrific noise crashes the night and takes you into the morning, earlier then you would like.
The cellular destroyed your dream... now it's gone. Vanished, like dust wiped off an old cupboard.

You hear a voice and get news told:
A remote relative had died and left an old mansion to your family.
He was buried years ago, but for a long time, noone responsive was able to reach the family.

...

You leave the car.
The memories crush you like a cup falling on solid ground.
Is this the place of your memories?

You are hardly able to open the door... the lock is rusty and when it finally opens, you are surprised, that the lock and the key are still in order.

...

After a while you find a library.
A book strikes your eye... you open it.






I hope you are still here and didn't stop reading after my small story!

To realize our ideas and dreams, a server unlike to any other existing, we need your help!

It will be a small, nostalgic themed server.

If you always loved the flair of the elder graal server's and console games, this might be the playe of your dreams, too.

Reminds me of The Longest Journey... x3

Just a small inspiration, the content of higher importance is certainly beneath the bottom.

It will be loosely based on the olde times with an overhauled concept.

I haved attached a small screenshot incase people don't know it.

How about some more content instead of hype? You're doing well with the screenshots, now I just need to figure out what this is about and why I should be interested.

We won't buy a server and build too much up before its clear that we have a real team, 40 or even 100 € is too much for just wasting it into a later unused gserver, so we are checking the situation at first.

There is a small town in the style like this, you can check the olde the olde times threads, too.

I'd like to say I found this the slightest bit interesting, but then I'd be lying.

Thats your personal opinion, its just and easy not the taste of the masses like era or zodiac.

Consider that I'm one player out of many that makes up those 'masses.' That does not make my opinion insignificant. On the contrary, it could be shared by many or perhaps spread by force of persuasion. Perhaps if you provided more information my opinion might change, but what's been presented so far gives no insight to anything but the server's thematics. At the moment, that's all my opinion is based in, so don't get huffy about it.

It's my personal opinion that it's both redundant and silly to say "That's your personal opinion" as if that would somehow advance the discussion further in a constructive manner.

It's our current state of planning and development and we wan't to give another developer the chance to enter the project at a early state of development.

If you like more details of mine or crow's portfolio you are welcome, of course I can add some more screenshots to this thread.
