Graal Developer of the Month
 

I know this is generic and all, but I'm curious as to what people would say to this question. Who do you think is the latest Dev of the month? Someone who you noticed has been working on there UC PW or classic/gold/hosted server, helpin it achieve greater and better things for itself.

If I had to pick one person, mine would be Ziro (xXziroXx), for I've seen that even when working alone, he still pushes out work on Mythic, and creates very nice and very efficient systems for the players. Even if hes not so good in one area of development he will do his best to get the job done in it, whether the final outcome is excellent, or not so good.

So I've chosen who I think it should be in the past month, what about you?

I would pick myself as ive done awesome things for Crystia such as ... a half finished dead looking tree (that should look alive btw, damn u elk), a window concept and a blob that wont be used so yeah, myself.

Haha, I think Jigga disappeared from Graal at random.. I havn't seen or heard anything about him in a while.

I'd pick someone who didn't lag half of Graal. ;)

I find this rather problematic since it's only feasible to measure changes that are immediately visible.

Sounds like a popularity contest to me. But are we talking about skill, or effort?(Effort including some sort of quality content. Because I'd imagine 5 people being this over and over again out of tons of developers who try.

I can't really pick. I know a couple great developers who cause take this tile. So i'm going to stay out of this one.

I would pick Mr. Utility Man which is that Dusty guy.

Dusty, Inverness, Thor, probably some others I cbf'd remembering their names atm.

Obviously Stefan would win.

Yes, because he has obviously developed so much this month we're inundated with updates and I can barely breathe from it.

Ew, no. Elk's good at graphics but he's definitely not a good team member. He makes most people around him feel like crap.

i don't think he's a bad person either.
being a developer though, he does a-lot of amazing graphics.

You don't know for certain? There are plenty of people like Elk, I suggest you start figuring out how they operate.

I'd probably vote... Mike. As in, PrinceOfKenshin. Why? Because he's done great work in more then one place, and he's never afraid of a challenge.

Because your always working on Mythic, improving it, even when all the rest of staff is slacking your on there working, while trying to get them back to work on the server. Usually when most of the staff become slightly inactive, the leader gets inactive, then less work gets done, then all the sudden everyone's inactive. Most developers on Graal can't stick to one project for a while or if they did, they go through periodic cycles of becoming active/inactive. I've seen nothing but activity from you along with working offline when you had no computer to use.

Btw, this isn't really a true contest, nobody really gets an actual award. This was just for fun and just to point out some people you noticed have been working hard on a server and "improving it drastically", as DV would say ^^

I'm thinking that this thread is more of a populair contest, as Mystic stated.

Does any development work or could even be voted in for the simple fact everything he's touched has failed. Also this I fail to see how that can be a great dev.

Ziro would be a good contender but he makes too many buggy crap.

Dusty for his amazing work on his overworld.
