Graal Shop? Gelats?

Hey All,

This is more like a question. Then an idea, But i would like to hear what you all think about it. I've been playing Zone and Era for a while. And i also looked around some other servers. And im wondering why Zone is the only Server where u can buy items with Gelats.

I think, That the other servers dont want it because its stupid that you pay real money for items on a game. And that it would be unfair to players who cant/dont want/may not spend money on it.

I would like to see more servers with items in the Gelat Shop. It doenst have to be a perm item. But they could also add weapons and items with a lifetime on it.
Example, Era: You can buy a M1 in the Gelatshop for 150 Gelats. But it only lasts one month, And after a month it will be removed from your invertory.

I also think, Maybe this is alot of scripting work. But i think it is worth it, But its also hard to make. Because u can trade on servers like Era. But it could be made a item which cant be dropped?

I would like to hear what u think about it.

Thank you & Best Regards,
Name

Hi :)

The reasons are that gelats are optional and many people dislike the idea of an gameplay advantage through money and right now, playerworlds won't profit of offering them.

no but classic servers would earn stefan a profit annnd unixmad

I definitely don't like the idea of people getting advantages because they paid some extra money.

I really agree with that.

and i dislike the idea too but since we all know they wont remove it,
u could LOWER the dmg on the guns! like everygun is either too stong or too fast (greenrifle is both IMO.)
soz if typos.

people already buy stuff for USD from other players, we don't need to give them a legal way to buy items with their parent's pockets.

CharlieM 09-05-2008 05:39 AM

It wouldnt really matter, by making it illegal you create the forbidden fruit effect (which it is now)

I hate saying this but it's the truth in a certain way.
