My post count is stuck at 649

I have been at 649 for like my last 50 posts, whats up?

Edit: Wow, I posted 6 times in the past couple of days and it was at 649, the second I make a thread, it moves up to 650. This thing hates me.

Some forums don't increase post count. Happy birthday, hello/goodbye are the only ones I know of.

How weird, right when I make a thread they start going up now.

Must of been a glitch when they opened up the forums for free.

Is there any benefits to post count other than it being a number?
If not, then I don't understand why this problem would matter.

Eventually you get more rep power, but it's like 1 per 4,000 posts.
