PPA's Untaglocked Weapon
 

Hello,

I find it a little unfair that PPA can use their weapons off tag. They can lame with Ravon 5 explosive bullets off tag, use SG17 which is super lame and and dual ap7s. What can you do to stop this?
I would advise make it so ONLY they can use it ON PPA tag. Or you can just make them public so everyone is happy.

It was like that, then they started to complain about gangs being able to use gang weapons off tag, and that it wasn't fair. Which was a pretty good point.

Wouldn't it be most fair to have gang AND business (or whatever it's called, I don't play Era) weapons tag locked?

What happened to businesses no longer having their own weapons?

personally, any gun being taglocked is stupid.

i'd recommend having to pay a certain amount each week [players] to use the gang or business gun. Upon tagging up, you're given the weapon for #### time [a week irl or something?] untill you re-upgrade it.

It was Dem's idea to feed PPA a bunch of guns, and when PPA started getting **** BHer complained and also got more stuff.

Why are there gang guns anyway? They should be public, not private. First, they stop working when you get kicked out or leave the gang, and they can be hard to sell. Second, people will join gangs based on the weapons, not the gang.

Without those guns, Theres really no reason to join a gang.

So? If the gang is smart, like Morano Family was in 2006, then you don't have this problem. Best gang in Era's history, simply because it wasn't packed full of retarded "gangstas" when Sean (or whoever Misha's era-bf was) lead it.

I certainly didn't join a gang to get the gun ... I joined because I enjoy raiding, gang events, etc.

You don't get the gun for joining though, there's still the process of building and buying it.

I know; but a lot of people still choose a gang based on the gang gun.

the main 3 gangs, BB, BH, and LC have been passed down to many different leaders since the last reset, it gave a lot of chances to leak the guns. each time a new leader was put into place, the guns were not reset. they stayed out in the economy. it's been a while now to the point where they are literally just lying around in people's inventories/storages. they sell them, and some kid will be like "cool I got an sg552, let's join LC" so yeah, Chris is right.

when new gangs release, sometimes the leader is smart and only gives the gun out to high ranking members. but even that's shown to fall apart because they wind up getting mad at someone, leave the gang and sell it to some lowbie in the gang. then it circulates.

But think of it this way,

If everyone were able to purchase a gun, then everyone would be satisfied. If Gang leaders put more RP aspects into their gang, then why shouldn't people join?

The whole gang gun bimbo-limbo when the new gang system replaces the current one...err, Frankie, help me out here, can I tell the others what will happen to gang guns?

yeah. I don't even remember what's supposed to go on with the new gang system.

Well, for gang weapons it was planned to have something like gun racks in the base where people with the "gun rack right" can take out a gang gun if one is available. The rack holds 5 or whatever weapons in total. You can take one out for free, but you cannot drop or trade them, and when you log off, it goes back into the rack.

That could work, but then people will get upset for the gang guns they bought now. Unless this is after reset?

The guns are clearly being abused.

Either that or a refund.

I noticed that people use PPA weapons on like LMS or PK Area.
Is that fair? Same with gang guns.

I hardly play Era and I can tell that sounds like some BS rule.

PPA Promotes the "We won't fight unless you fight us first" rule, but use it in events.

They don't follow that rule at all, then.

Also to be true to this, you need a lot of skill to kill with the PPA guns. topic closed please.
