So Iricia is obviously the most popular planet but I've always wondered why. The other planets offer GREAT team battles and new goals (if you havent been there before). Doesn't anyone ever get tired of base laming and getting bases?

I think in closing Iricia for 2 days other players will try out new planets and enjoy them too!

Should Iricia be closed from July 6th, 11:00 AM EST - July 8th, 11:00 AM EST?

This is why: I know why we all love irica. Irica = Base laming. Why shouldn't we Base laming ? Its like free kills. Just only wait on the enemy hq base, You killed someone he spawned back and you can kill him again. So Everyone loves Irica for free kills. That's why iricia is populair. But Nobody can say: Oh , I don't play Iricia for freeKills. Everbody is doing it!! But thats Irica. Irica = Base laming.

Actually most people do like it for the lame kills. they just don't want to admit it. there are those few who have different reasons though. but mostly its the lame kills.

No but for once, you speak the Truth, Iricia is used mostly for Lame Kills, although I'm not sure everyone uses it for that exact purpose, some actually just like it, with the Capture the Base style, and the big open space you have to fight in.

That's not the reason. A lot of us "lame" kills but that's not the reason why we like that map.

The map is very open, allowing open room to fight in (like Desear said). You're not restricted by stupid trees placed all over the level as fillers. Because of the open space the map can be navigated through very easily, allowing you to simply hop onto a bike and rip right through the battlefield in no time.

The gameplay itself is quite simple yet effective. Capture the bases. A lot of us don't really care to do this but because so many of us don't really give a **** it makes each round last a long time. You're not having to constantly worry about getting from your base to a single point which will determine the fate of your team, as there are 5 bases.

The tileset is nice and bright. The other planets look depressing while Arctic is nice and shiney. :pluffy:

I agree with Raven because I think he was directing his post at the new Zone population. All iricia is now is a dominant team standing on the other teams base until 1 team wins. *See the thought patterns of the greater percentage of the new population below*

I still disagree. Arctic has been popular for years, even before base laming was an issue as it is today. If base laming was somehow made illegal I bet people would STILL play Arctic.

Why don't you just have it so planets go out of orbit from time to time and can't be accessed? You could have special planets coming in at different times, too add extra variation, and holiday planets too.

I was assuming the situation was ideal, i.e NO ONE base lames.
