confused at new prices

is it just me , or are all the packages for reupgrading overpriced?
i have 21 days left on my account, and im still deciding if im going to reupgrade.
so i was looking at the prices, and it was like 50$ for a "developers pack"
all i want is a package that gives me gold and classic for a year, thats all i want.
i cant find it in the store, theres only gelat packages and "developers packages"
and if they mean gold and classic by developer, for 50$, then im definatly not reupgrading

Any of the Gelat packs are fine. If you want at least one year of access to all servers then take the 36 euro package (which gives like 13 1/2 months subscription time). It's about the same price as before for the Gold bundle.

so how much would it be

cbk1994 06-16-2008 03:06 AM

55.3680 USD according to their converter on the web site.

Elizabeth 06-16-2008 08:04 PM

goodgod, im not reupgrading then.

way to change the name of my thread btw ..

That's not exactly true, the cheapest package is 24 euro which is around 36 Dollar and gives 8 months of Gold bundle. The next more expensive package is 36 euro which is around 55 Dollar and gives more than 13 months of Gold bundle, it's almost exactly the same price as before (assuming you wanted gold bundle anyway). Sorry for the confusion.

There is not much difference in the pricing, as Stefan has explained.

Yes there is ... almost $30.

And neither does Cyberjoueurs. Why would they desire operating with a receding currency. You should expect international services to get more expensive as your dollar goes down.

Elizabeth 06-19-2008 02:18 AM

k, i vote for 25$ gold bundles

Admins 06-19-2008 10:57 AM

The main problem is the price of the base package, and not the monthly price?

Elizabeth 06-19-2008 02:34 PM

..theres a monthly price?
wow.

Clockwork 06-20-2008 01:32 AM

Elizabeth 06-20-2008 01:51 AM

If you take the second option then it is about the same price as that old option (1 year gold bundle)? Btw there was no lifetime classic subscription for almost one year.

Elizabeth 06-20-2008 02:09 AM

so.. its 25 dollars for a few internet gelats?

He means that you should offer some packages of less gelats, for people who are just buying things on Zone, etc instead of using the gelats for subscriptions.

Mafukie 06-20-2008 04:27 AM

I think this kinda works out better for me because this way I can subscribe / unsubscribe to gold whenever so I think this will last me a long time (got the 8k gelats) it will probably last me 2-3 years

cbk1994 06-20-2008 04:47 AM

They say that the new gelat payment system was added
so that you could pause your subscription. However, if they really wanted people to be able to pause subscriptions, they could have simply made it possible to do that with the old system.

The reason for the switch to gelats was so that more people will have gelats and will be tempted to buy things with them.
