The Lounge

I applied for The Lounge group a few weeks ago ... now, after checking, it has disappeared, so I have reapplied today ...

I lost this when they moved my account to cbk1994 from cbkbud.

I am unable to send anyone a PM about it, as it gives me a bad request error.

Crono 06-04-2008 07:38 PM

...lounge :p

You're supposed to be 13 to use the forums anyway.

Plus, I'm *cough* mature *cough* for a 13 year old ;)

I don't know, and no you're not. You probably should have read the rules before applying anyway, which obviously wasn't the case.

Elizabeth 06-04-2008 08:23 PM

im totally not going to be accepted if i apply in 21 days

That's the downside of being an FBI agent pretending to be 13 years old. You can't see the mature forums

I've applied before and gotten in; that is why I'm trying to figure out why I am not getting approved now.

Besides, it's not like there ARE mature topics in the lounge.

Why don't we make another private forum, for those who wish to post links? I don't see how asking for advice on my web site, or talking about Google's april fools jokes are mature.

DustyPorViva 06-04-2008 08:40 PM

Most likely whoever approved before did not do a background check on you.

As for it being 14? I'm going to assume it has something to do with being a more 'mature' forum.

Too bad, they've recently approved nudity and someone is hosting a good ol' top 5 celebrity nip slips referendum.

xAzerothx 06-04-2008 08:50 PM

I missed the nip slips?

Pluffy won top spot, I should note. ****in' sexy.

Wow, that's an awesome graphic.

DustyPorViva 06-04-2008 09:09 PM

If you haven't noticed from Crono's "challenge me" thread, Pluffy can be anything desired... that includes something with a nip... well, you get the point.

Try reading the rules for signing up for the lounge...

I've read the rules, obviously. Thanks for the spam though :)

I am wanting to know why I got approved when I was eleven and not now?

How about creating a forum where we can link?

If you look back, I've created several threads in the lounge.

I don't see how the lounge can be the only place we can link to places when you have to be fourteen.

Nabru 06-04-2008 11:33 PM

Simply put: They hope 14 year olds are smart enough to not click keyloggers or if they see offensive things they won't run and tell their mommies.

You obviously slipped through the cracks the first time.

What kind of reason is that?

No, it isn't.

A solution would be to realize that most thirteen year olds nowadays know more about computers than the forum moderators.

And they still act like idiots.

The Lounge is the one safe haven we have from annoying posts like yours, and to be completely honest, barely anything is ever posted there, so why should you care so much about access to it.

xAzerothx 06-04-2008 11:56 PM

Just because you're old doesn't mean you're not stupid. Look at George Bush.

Someone already did that. Everyone from these forums posts there except you and the moderators/admins, or so it seems.

Wow, that's an awesome graphic.

Here's the actual picture. Pluffy was just leaving a premier of Sex and the City: the movie.

Tops Janet Jackson.

edit: sorry, I forgot this isn't THE LOUNGE... I've censored the actual nipple, for you youngin's.

I don't think you're allowed to post hentai on these forums.

edit: nevermind, fixed

Crono 06-05-2008 12:29 AM

Answering a question is not spam.
Obviously, whoever approved you before, didnt know how old you were. You didnt follow any rules when you applied the other day.

Also, I dont create forums, unixmad does.

Well, then contact him.

It seems he doesn't care about his customers as it's impossible to even talk to him.

Elizabeth 06-05-2008 12:44 AM

darlene, unixmad probably doesnt like the way youre moderating .. i dont think hes THAT strict

I am not going to contact him to tell him that a 13 year old is throwing a fit because he cant access the private forums to post links....besides, I cant seem to contact him anyway.

Which is the problem.

If it makes everyone happy, I'll just leave the forums. Apparently that's what everyone wants.

Unix (Tue Jun 03 19:07:17 2008):
Well they can complain about me but Moonie and Sam are really doing good work to make this forum clean

kia345 06-05-2008 12:53 AM

Clean, yes; Fun, no. The game's losing it's charm, as are the forums.

Also, hey Darlene, I believe Rufus isn't allowed to post private messengers, even if they do play an important role in the thread.

Elizabeth 06-05-2008 12:53 AM

and yet theyre doing it unreasonably at the same time
