Deleting folders

Can we PLEASE improve the functionallity of deleting folders in RC? As far as I know, it isn't even supported in the scripted RC, and in the external RC, it takes forever, and usually does nothing. It leaves the folder there without touching it!

The former development team of Utopia made all of these crazy folders

(They made a folder called NPCs which is now messing with npcs)

Can we make it faster and work? Thanks!

I also support the idea of being able to drag folders so that you can save whole folders instead of having to do it manually. This includes subfolders :P

Agreed, that would have saved me an hour of downloading Utopias crap, then deleting it, then making a support ticket to get someone to delete the damn folders.

Make an RC command that deletes all empty folders at once.

That would be awesome :)

Edit: Ability to delete a folder and all subfolders would be nice as well.

The funny thing is, many folders can just be 'lost' into oblivion. Since you only see what folders you have depending on your rights, no matter who you are, if you somehow erased your rights to a certain folder(say a personal folder for a staff member), in a few days or so you've completely forgot it. You'll never be able to find it again unless you remember the exact directory.

rw */*
rw */*/*

Deleting folders works fine for me after I emptied them. Thats a thing that annoys me though, why not give me the option to delete a folder and its contents, would be easier.
Also, it seems that some stuff in the filebrowser gets bugged from time to time. I once had a folder ending in ".zip". Turned out it was once a .zip file and was then an unusable folder.

Uhm? You are angry or something?

Not everyone goes around helping every UC servers >_>

And yeah, it would be nice if there was an rc command to delete all empty folders or a way to do it in the scripted one..

No, sorry if it came across that way.

It was more a poke at UC servers which give out all rights to any random non-dev/dev staff.

Ah, ok

I don't like it when people make random personalized folders to store they're files in :( Waste of folders unless you actually put alot of work in there

I just do like

levels/bases
levels/overworld
levels/events

so that it's more organized.

I will usually also do

levels/images/fishing
levels/images/mining
