Playerworld Sponsorship
I am currently in the process of renting a server, all costs of rent and so forth will be paid and funded by myself.
I am currently seeking a manager who wishes to create their own server and would be interested in developing a server. Please post below, or contact me at AIM: DeveloperXY, for further information. |
u mean like u gona rent a server for somebody?
|
Stop, dont pay yet!
You should pay after you got a plan! |

You only have three posts, which are in this thread.
So ... is this some kind of scam? That would be my guess, as you're coming out of nowhere. A warning to anyone going to do this: If you upload your stuff to his server, he can and probably will take it and fire you. Why are you doing this? How does it help you that you are paying for a server so that others can develop on it? Is it so you can scam them? Or so you can abuse once it's up? Or what? |
You might be right Chris but it is possible that he just might be wanting to help someone out and/or wants to see a successful server. Most don't know though that the lack of having a server isn't usually the reason a server isn't successful on Graal.
|
I know, he could be legitimate, but frankly I've seen enough of these scams from working on UC servers.
At least "Jigga" is not anywhere in his account/community name. |
He wants to be someone who owns a successfull server maybe? If someone uploaded a few levels to his server and then he fired them how would he get more stuff?
|
Its a temptation but I would never do that, as I would loose my rights to you.
It's seriously a nice idea, but rather create a server with your friends and have fun developing! :) |

Ok, I sponsor a server and then steal everything once its complete. A month later the players want new content. How do I get it? You can't get it...
|
Obviously you hire people. Also, just because people steal content doesn't mean they can't add onto it... most of the time they can't, but some people could just be lazy.
Either way, it's not impossible to carry on a stolen project. |
Wow a lot of people know how to bring someone new here down...You can tell him the flaws to his idea but i dont think 10 posts of it is necessary..

I was just pointing out to be careful as it is very likely this could be a scam. |

If you do you not have the manadotry skills to manage a server do not even bother bashing a thread, or making accusations as they would be misplaced. The main reason why I wish to have someone develop a server under my funding is so that I can experience and be a part of a community of people whether it is staff, and eventually players. |
It's a small risk, honestly. Keep your work backed-up in case he blows up, but otherwise someone will make good use of this.

If they're out to steal from you I don't think it matters how much they like you.
|
I wouldn't value the servers contents over the amount paid to rent a server considering the continuous to moderately low fluctuation of graal players.

Nor have you, however, I can at least say I'm funding a developmental project. The one thing that you can say in this regard is that your hostility is bent with a twist of bias towards those who are chosen to receive such a server.
I am trusted by those who are currently developing a project on a server funded on my behalf. Their input is highly regarded, however, the sponsorship has already been entrusted and no longer requires such input. |
I'm just wondering why it is you're trying so hard to offer this sponsorship while at the same time you're demanding a refund for your server and account from Graalonline. There appears to be some ulterior motive behind all this giving nature.

Bell, isn't even worth my time.
The server will be payed for until the rentail has expired. |
Just throwing in my few coins;
I talked to this guy over AIM, he appears as a fairly nice and honest guy - so no objections there. I was actually talking to him about possibly having Mythic hosted by him, and sure, we worked something out and came to an agreement. Said I'd be back tomorrow so we could talk more (which I couldn't due to getting home late and wanted to get some sleep), so I figured I'd talk to him the next day instead. So I log on the next day, only to find that he'd already removed my RC and whatnot - not that I had uploaded a thing. All I'm saying is, if you're inactive a day, he might remove you - who knows. Not sure I'm willing to take that risk. |

Maybe he thought you were some random noob who wanted rights? No offense..
|
*shrugs*
I've decided to take him up on his offer, and he's now "hosting" Mythic since the other playerworld was running out and I'm rather low on other options until I would be able to purchase my own again, in 3 months (the "current" Mythic was running out in 31 days). |
Poor Ziro
Best of luck. |
