After I look at it I think Elk's right.

afcourse i made them, wanna see the ****ing .psds as a proof? Quote:
You know what i do? I BLEND in the people i put in the signature, so its seems more like a whole then like a background with a render slapped on there.( No im not referring to your signatures, afcourse not) Quote:
edit: srry if im a bit rude or anything, but it just pissed me off that people believe i stole them, or just cut out fo an existing wallpaper. |
Well, the main signature element is mostly a person or character, and those are of course cut out of wallpapers. Who would redraw those ;o
|
yes ok, but from what i understand elk means that i took a wallpaper, and just cut out a piece of it not just the character,

yes, and you know, I MADE THAT BACKGROUND, and then you give it lightning effects to make it blend in more,
it isn't about pasting the thing in, but you might not believe it I made those backgrounds, just accept that thats what it is about in this case. Signature making is about making a background, putting a character or an object in it, and make it fit in there, and you guys keep saying i past things on a background, might be, but i made those backgrounds, and i blend them in. You keep saying it are 'wallpapers' but they're not, they're the backgrounds i made for those signatures, yes, sometimes i put a bit of a picture in it, Like in the masterchief one, i amdmit that, but then i change it, i do things to it in photoshop. |
No, I don't think you stole them. I mean you're really good with photoshop but they look too flashy for me.
Just wondering what does the [M] stand for? |
oh um, well on a forum i came from, someone kept bugging everyone, to have a logo, now is my name on that forum, and also my ingame name at graal miniman, so i decided that an M should be my logo.
|
Hmm, while they all look different, they all look similar. They all seem to have those yellow streaks flying from behind the character(looks like sparks or something) and I think it removes any sort of separation you could have from them.
Oh, and using pre-existing images is a common practice for making signatures. Hell, even Azeroth's previous thread right before this one was doing the same thing and I didn't see anyone throwing a fuss over it. Why such a big deal over these--the fact that they look cool? |
They're saying he took a wallpaper and just resized it. I stole a picture from a wallpaper and put a crappy background behind it.
|
Oh, then that's a different story :P

I think they look great, I've made signatures with photoshop, not as good as these though. I'll post them If I find them.
::EDIT:: here they are, I used tutorials for them though. |

i think that one is awesome, but i'd rather see him facing forward he doesn't really have a sexy neck-chin area to wanna look at |
I can't crop out images very well.
|
I think my sig is pretty cool, I didn't do much though, I got a friend with a computer drawing board thingy to add the cool edges.. (they are supposed to be transparent but it was made for a darker site)

I thought the black part was burnt edges.

I think the straight lines make it look ugly.

Would look better if it had the burn effect everywhere.
