buddy list
I've tried looking and I can't find anything that will return the people that're on my buddy list!
Any ideas? |
TServerPlayer.isbuddy on clientside?
|
yay ok i didn't really look, but thanks!! =D

I found that in like the 8 seconds it took to go to the wiki and press Ctrl+F and type buddy.
You irritate Inverness :( |
It took someone 11 minutes to find it from my origional post! I tried the search feature, but it didn't go very well and brought up some other things
I am very sorry, but thanks =D |
http://wiki.graal.net/index.php/GScript
Go there then scroll down to bottom to where it says Script Function List then take off from there. |
rep++, thanks!! =D
|
Heh, I've worked with isbuddy so much that I wouldn't have even looked. Of course I wouldn't have gotten rep either for not posting that little tip so Inverness has a much better response.
|
What are some practical uses of isbuddy? I can't really think of any, unless making a custom buddy list or something.
|
I actually used it when I made my nickname/chat display system. Other people's names will appear green if they are buddied to you (or in the same guild as you), will appear red if on ignore (or on some sort of enemy status via other sources) and yellow otherwise. The player also see's his own name as blue as well as other people in his party.

Maybe I'll just do the kind of thing I did on Utopia where everyone had a kind of "aura" to them. |
