Endora - Announcement
 

Im just going to put this short and sweet. Endora has been passed down to Angel (Omaster2). He will now be Endoras Owner. Expect many of changes
to occur to the server. Such as bugs, glitchs, and lag being fixed up. Soem new systems being added/fixed as well. Also, we have added a dungeon where you can level with your corresponding room. We've made rooms up to a lvl 50 player. Anyways, the server is going under some maintenance right now, but will be up very soon again, considering it is about done. We just need to get in contact with a PWA to now get it back up on the Hosted list. If you want to log on to Endora, it is called Dev -Ching at the moment. Good day fellow Graalians!

Thanks for posting this for me Kale, I appreciate it. Anyways, I look forward to this opportunity, and promise to make the best out of it. Be ready for many interesting changes that should be like amongst you all!

At the moment, im one of the testers, beside angel. Me and him are going through every class, seeing what needs fixes, currently me and him are both warriors, we've fixed enough glitches and such that our previous workers made- that warriors are practically a new class. Soon we'll be moving on to mage, and rangers.

Angel has been working non stop on this server, and he's going to make it good. By the time were classic- rangers will probably be the best class again.

I was able (with a mage) to kill a level...I dunno, but higher then me (I was level 2) troll with my fireballs! He didnt even attack me!

Yeah, theres some problems with mages and rangers.. but there was some terribly needed work to be done. In the new dungeons- theres not really a place to hide, mainly mages will be needed as preists and such. If you dont have potions, or enough time to sit and wait for your hp, then definetley.. always have a mage. Mages will also be great when your pking. They have stunning spells, heal-self-spells, major fireball spells (do over 200 damage.) Theres a lot of good things for mages so far- we'll just have to work on aggro.

Some Updates to Endora

I've recently only added a couple 'new' features. But edited many of the old unbalanced systems and such that were on Endora
The leveling system is now A LOT better than what it was. For no, I just have a dungeon set up that had baddies that correspond to your main level. You cannot pass through the next door to compete with the higher baddies, unless you meet the level requirements. We have dungeons made for players up to the level of 50. There will be 1 more dungeon after that for 50+ players. These baddies plan to be very strong, and very hard to beat. We plan to make leveling after 50 be a lot harder.
Anywho, another update is just some minor weapon ganis have been re-done.
More points will be distributed to your player once you level. You will get 20 points per level, and can add them to your HP/MP by clicking a 'points' button near your GUI.
A new GUI has been made but is waiting to be scripted by our NAT.
Armors and weapons will be released more and more each day. Usually once we get a decent amount of players on, I will host a trivia or luck event. And then give away something that isn't sold yet in stores.
All and every bit of weapons and armor are being re-done, stat-wise. This being because it needs to balance out with how strong the baddies are in the dungeons, and how fast you level, how much damage people and damage do and so forth and so on. Ive gotten almost all armors edited to where they should be, and still working on the weapons.
Added a new baddie int he dungeons, also working on a 'Ice-Bot' baddie. Its all GFX'd, I just need to GANI it and get it under way. Will just be a simple blue looking robot styled head, (like a plastic toy looking one) and will hover in the air. It will blow out an icy glacier breath (thats its attack).
More baddies are also underway, but we have a good amount to work with for now. They do a good bit of HP damage and are pretty tough in the dungeons.

Leveling System: The leveling system is made like this; You can level your main level easy once you build up a skill level (sword, Magic, Archer). Meaning this, you can level your sword level pretty high (this builds more damage you do with weapons) and level your main to like lvl 30-40. Then you'll be able to goto the higher leveled baddies with your higher level in dungeons. You can then kill those 'good' baddies with a spell, which will give you alot of Exp for your main level and level you very quickly. Just because your building up a new skill. So if your level 1 magic, 150 sword, and kill a lvl 35 baddie with magic, your magic level is so low, it will level your main level proably 2 levels just from that kill. It will obviously slow down and balance out, and you will get less and less Main Exp each kill before you level again. But this wont make much stronger, besides give you some HP/MP points to distrbute. Levelig one skill alot is how to get good, such as leveling your sword fully til you get your main to level 50. (Your sword level will be about 500 or so). And you will do very good damage + with items and be very skilled in using melee weapons.

Ah, was just wondering, as I made some effects to the attack systems as freeze, poison and knockback effects ;o

Seeya have absolutely changed my view of Endora and their staff.
Yesterday he was on AEON talking trash about the server and started bragging about Endora. He would never shut up. It was like he had nothing to do, so he just felt being on AEON bragging about Endora. Telling how much AEON will fail etc etc.
For God sakes, I had to jail him to get him to shut up.

Hehe, well, I did some stuff there in my freetime (I didn't have time to work there fulltime :( And I'm sorry to MD for that)

Yes i did trash your server, for being a ****ty one, nonetheless. You people jail me for pointing out fixes?

I told you your gun-sfx was stolen and i get dq'd for "bad attitude."

You were all going on and on about how you are going to be classic, with 0 players. I didnt say anything about how endora was going to FLY past you, we nearly have the same ammount. We both need changes.

I wrote a bunch of paragraphs on what happened to endora, and what new was released. but screw it, i exited out to type to some people when they warped to me, xD, heres what happened to endora.

Endora ran out of time, we reuploaded it in the next ten minutes after it died out of time.

and uhh, we've released more things than i can say since last time i was here,

updated fighting system, changed points, new dungeons, we have an AMAZING NAT, such, we've released player owned buisnesses, and everything is practically done and ready. Were critiquing everything, and were fixing up the nations to there peak. We also made new monsters, and were fixing the graphics to everyhting. We have a new gui, and such..

So dont think your off the hook with classic. You guys wont succeed us.

I can only 'lol'. You should put your money where your mouth is when you make such statements because I'd like to let you know that player count while not being being classic and just the fact of not being classic does not guarantee your success in any way, shape or form. I haven't seen this new Endora but in all honesty, it sounds like it isn't something that's very new.

Sure, even if you manage to finish the server and get it booted up to classic, it doesn't mean it's actually a quality server that Graal hasn't seen before.

And seriously, what's with everyone and saying "Stefan said he'll do this for me" and "Stefan said he'll do that for me"? He's got far more important things to do then move your server to hosted... That's the job of the PWA and maybe Unixmad.

I know that. It will be hosted again today or tomorrow w/ the name Endora again.

People like RPG, when Zodiac gets reset(If they do, from what the poll says on there server.), theres going to be some people who want something new, and are pissed from the reset. We'll have a bunch of people who want a new rpg, something all-together new. Theyll see Endora. Some might try it, some might not like it. But i know there will be those who do like it, and we'll run a quality server that *some* people enjoy. Im not saying EVERYONE on graal is going to like it.

oh and for aeon, you guys werent the one who challenged endora to be the first to classic?

i just am informing you after getting 10 of your people on dev -ching saying "WHAT HAPPENED TO ENDORA LOL U GUYS GOT BOOTED OFF HOSTED" and i have to explain it so much, i decided to just go to you and tell you.

Im not relying on just that, it will help us with our playercount though, for a starter-up. But of course, all servers get a lot of attention there first week on classic anyway.. if we make it to classic.
