Shop changes
 

I know people have been complaining about this for awhile, and that there's been about 25325436 threads b4 this complaining about the gelats shop, but I just want to make some constructive criticism. I think the gelats shop is a great way for zone to get more income to expand, and the playercount has been getting higher every day, but some things should be moved from the gelats shop to the zone money one. the following is a list of what I think should be moved back to the zone money shop.

• Pipeboms
• Photon
• Blue/Red Rifles
• Jetpack
• Basic Ammo Upgrades: Caliber .24; Caliber 12; Caliber .45, Plasma Ammo
• Gas Gernades

I remember when I played back a year or 2 ago when you had to kill a ton of kids and save up money to finally earn blue and red rifles, and pipeboms used to be more common and fun to use, but now I have to conserve, and its honestly a pain to have to pay for them w/ real money. And I'm just tired of all the newbs and new recruits with jetpacks and photons, photon used to be a weapon only the real elite kids had and jetpack used to less common. I understand that these are some of the best sold items, but maybe when some new items/weaps/ect. come out you can put those into the gelats shop and put these back in the zone money shop. Thats about it for now, just wanted express my opinion :).

Pipebombs are pretty common now. Today Rykuz hosted off around 200? It was for a snowrace event too which is lame because those are easy.

true, but even so, i think they should just put back the jetpack and photon most of all, none of the new kids are getting good because its soo easy to just get good weaps, instead of taking time to get good with the reg ones.

Photon should stay, it's lame enough.

Don't you have all the weapons? Why should you care about the newer players?

Because Photon is lame enough, we don't need trials with it x_x

Everything should be in the money shop, just give it a huge price so they'll be tempted to use Gelats instead.

That's actually the best idea, and when I suggested it a while back, along with a few others (I forget who), Stef ignored us :rolleyes:

No offense but the Pipebombs/Photon/Rifles/Gas Grenades are probaly what make the most money. Especially the pipebombs. The ammo probaly doesn't make them much money but the others have to. You think it is fine but you want to move what is most probaly the most bought product on zone into the normal shop?
Either way it seems the ET's are hosting to compensate the loss of pipebombs in circulation.

i care because I think it would make the quality of the gameplay go up. It took me forever to get blue and red rifle, and i loved the jetpack because none of the trials or new kids had them. i have photon, but i barely ever use it. and that's not even the point, I just want them to put more stuff back onto the zone shop, and keep the luxurious weaps like the gold weapons, goo pistol, heavey laser ect. in the gelats shop.

i forgot about the events =D. point is, I just mostly want the jetpack and photon off, maybe once they add new weaps to replace them.

Photons and red/blue rifles and all of that stuff in the shop would be good, but PLEASE JUST PUT PIPES BACK IN THE SHOP!!!!!!!!!There is really no reason pipes should be a gelats item.... The only things that should even be in the gelat shop are greenrifles, heavylaser, sniper, etc. Ammo and grenades should NOT be.

I agree with him with putting red/blue rifle and jetpack and photon in there i would love to see the price doubled maybe tripled to buy them with cash to influence people using gelats so they like take me a month just to save up for blue rifle might as well use some gelats and leave all bombs to grelat shop even proxys in there is thought on it xD
Put ammo in there also maybe make it so crazy expensive to make people want to use gelat shop on it also

Yeah, he also said we'd have "flying technology" by last Christmas, new features/fixed features on Gk was a promise before I joined (things which I might add, are still dead), and was waving G3D in our faces ages ago.

Technically there is flying tech out. Check GK when either me, yann or Tig are flying around.

But is it really flying technology? When you fly, does everything zoom out exactly how it's shown in the demo, while your character stays at the same zoom level? Does your range of view increase when you're flying?

Even if that's the case... WE can't see it x.x

i have a great idea! you know the baes? its just eye candy, right? well, why not make that fly. so take the jetpack from the gelat shop, put it in the In-game shop, and put baes into the gelats shop. but make the baes run fast too. (for those of you who think this will be lame, just think, save 10 bucks, send it to them, and you got yourself a baes.)

That's been around. Stefan already said the 'flying technology' is not simply changing the player's Z.

Well he was talking about putting the balloons in the gelat shop for gk but he still had some work to do on it.

That's genius! These were promised before Gelats were thought of, open to all players but giving VIPs an advantage!

But since they're late, charging us even more for them is a great idea!

So how about the zone gelat shop???
Maybe they should make high priced renting alternatives to the weapons in the regular shop. That way you either pay through the nose for it or pay with your real world money.

I think Red Rifle, Blue Rifle, and the ammo should be turned back to the Zone Money shop, at their original prices before V5 (Including lifetime, not renting). But, Photon, pipebombs, and the other gelat items should stay, well.. gelat.

Q: The reason for Bluerifle & Redrifle?
A: It would give new players a chance to own a rifle, let them have a feel, and encourage them to buy Photon since it does more DMG then these two rifles, and has a decent range compared to RR, and more power to BR.

Q: Why ammo?
A: Its a basic need for players, and I doubt you are making much sales from this seeing as it would useless for most players since they usually don't run out of ammo even without the extra.

i agree with some of desear's idea jauntskies, at least put the rifles back so the players can get a feel for what other rifles are, and now since trials save their stuff, more would be encouraged to buy photon and gr ect ect ect, and possibly subscribe.


another idea would be to raise the price of the photon and jetpack, photon is wayy to common nowadays.

Also things should be permanent, its unfair that kid who got their stuff b4 Version5 get to have them forever, but ones who just started havta keep throwing out money

cuz I honestly care =D. and I think it would improve the quality of the game somewhat. and im just givin my opinion about the shopz, i think they should put more stuff back onto the zone shop, might give some kids incentive to stay a bit longer, no ones gonna want to p2p forever.

With change came more change. Yes I would have loved to have seen the xmas pack stay but in hindsight even you can't be that stupid. They are making a killing off of gelats. People crave the items so they spend the money to use the gelats to get their item. Its a money maker and the people at cyberjourers were smart enough to see this.

i understand they are making a ton off of the gelats shop, and thats great.

I'd just like to see some items back in the zone shop, like the BR, RR, JP, and ammo sets, as they seem to be the least selling items. And I do know that stefan recently said theres going to be new items for the zone shop, but still, some of the older ones wouldn't hurt either.

As long as the gelats are making them money stuff won't be put back into the npc shop..they will stay in the gelat shop. And don't fool yourself. There are die hards out there that buy those items via gelats.
