:o I'm making tiles!
 

Here's some tiles I started. I haven't really pixelled in a while(been caught up in scripting) and I haven't pixelled since I got this new LCD... so colors may be off. Here are some notes... first off, they're not finished off course. Mainly just the cliff bit is done. The grass stuff was supposed to go on top of the cliff... but since I did those first I've noticed it doesn't look right on there. I'll have to redo them. Lastly, these are meant to be cartoony/simplistic in style, so I doubt I'll be adding a lot of detail.
I think they might be a bit too unsaturated, low in contrast, and/or bright... it's hard for me to tell so I'm not sure. Right now I don't think I'll have any use for them... so I might add them to the free tiles list.

But if would be nice to have some curved corners, maybe sticking out at the top and curving in :D That would make some nice shaped cliffs.

This looks nice, I like the kinda semi cartoon style. I would like to see the full tiles as in the curves and everything else, like on the regular tileset.

Depends on the objects he puts on his gmap - if he goes with trees that have dramatic shading/texture (semi realistic) it could be a good effect - especially if he made shadows to suit the land the tree sat on.

But I doubt he'll do that.

They look more like cardboard panelings with cliffs drawn on them I am sorry to say :(

Its nice, but I don't like the change-over from cliff to the grass, it looks like someone took a ruler and worked on the cliff until it was direct :)

They seem too straight and plain. You are going to making the side's of the cliffs more 'jagged' right?

I like the colorscheme and I also like the stripes/layers of darker and lighter brown in there.

I really like the style of these tiles I can't wait until you are done
