Trading Cards - Censored
First off let me say i have all cards in all sets. Even though the cards are not permanent i don't regret spending my gralats on them because i made good use of them. For instance i use stealth or one of the others in a few events on Classic Server and sometimes it gives me an edge in what i'm doing. One of the LAT's on the server took notice of this and told me he was creating a script that automatically kicks anyone using card npc's out of events and in the mean time telling all GC's to not let people like me participate unless i turn them off.
My question is that isn't this unfair? I mean the cards aren't exclusive and anyone can get them. I always figured the point of getting them was to have some sort of advantage over other players who chose not to get them. And whats the point of being able to turn them on at any time if im just going to be kicked out of the event or the level. If i am not going to be allowed to use them whenever i want then im not going to bother getting the next set that comes out. What would be the point? To just sit at a table why i have stealth turned on? Yeah that's a real big advantage. |
You're not supposed to get an advantage for using money. The point of them is to
a) look cool b) show off the fact you're not poor c) attempt at winning Gold |
I think that Unixmad just wants people to wear it whenever so other people want it too so they get more money.
People are not allowed to kick you or ban you or in any way harm your account because your wearing them. |
Wearing them is different than abusing them though. Events should be fair for everyone, you don't deserve an advantage.
|
Should only be usable in non-pk zones, really.
|
Having those on during events gives you an unfair advantage on other players. But why even use it in events, play fair and actually try to win instead of having npcs that will help you win.

^Lol.
Just disable them from going to events, unless they choose to take the card effects off.. ..and they're nor permanent? o.O |

And like i said, it isn't an unfair advantage because they aren't exclusive. Anyone can have them. You are just complaining because you chose not to get them. |

I have to live with 550 bucks a month, makes 350 for food after I payed the rent. If the company needs money, okay, WE all wan't cyberjoueurs to be effective so that they can offer this game in future too, but please not by hidden costs. If you need more money, offer exlusive stuff which gives NO unfair advantage or raise the subscription costs. - Lux |
I think the problem arises from mixing pay to play and pay for benefits(cash shop). Usually it's only one way or another... if it's pay to play, no one gets an unfair advantage because everyone's paying. If it's pay for benefits, people who pay have an advantage because they're willing to chip in the money... and it's justified because the game is most likely free, so how can you complain? Well, in this case, everyone has to pay to play(or at least, play without observer mode), but people still get to pay to get an advantage. It's mixing two cash-making methods into one, and I don't think it's exactly fair in a gaming sense.
