RC messages
 

I think it'd be nice for a new serveroption:
rcmessage=Hello, welcome to the RC, please read the rules!
or something like that. So that everytime someone logs onto RC, it shows it(locally), on their RC. This would make it easier to give new changes for staff or such. Very vague, but I'm sure you get the idea!

*kind of* like this idea, either way I think it would be cool to add.

Would be nice if this could be made and modified so you would get messages from individuals, so they could leave notes for you - perhaps requires your account is on a list to leave a message for a person (to prevent/punish spamming).

Hmm....just gave me a wicked idea. Also, I think a banner/motd at startup would be cool.

Ya, maybe something similar to /opencomments, that displays everytime the person logs on... /openlogon DustyPorViva? But, that would make it hard to display news to everyone... Maybe if we edit the (npcserver)'s logon?

If something like this were implemented, then you'd be able to script such RC messages ;).

I agree, that was also something I had on my mind, local sendtorc's.
