In my opinion
i think there should be a shop where you can buy house furniture, house supplies (stones, boards, nails), excetra.

And the mining economy comes to a grinding halt.

I built one three years ago on Zormite, but it died from negligence.

You can already craft these things, there is no need for a shop in general. If you like these things to be buyable, still I'd suggeest to craft them and open some shop in a playerhouse.
