Lag issues in graal

Hey, While I am playing graal, I am getting alot of lag or skippy framerates. This happened literality over night. I did not download anything new on my computer or anything like that. Here are my computer specs:

Processor Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7500

2.2GHz, FSB: 800MHz, 4MB L2 Cache

Memory 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 MHz SDRAM

Video Graphics & Memory NVIDIA GeForceGo 8600M GT GPU
256 MB GDDR3 Physical VRAM
Direct X 10 Support

HDD 2.5" 9.5mm HDD, 160 GB (5400rpm)

I tried everything from virus scanning and disk defragmenting

Also I tested graal on my older computer, and everything was fine, even through my older computer is much worse. If it helps my old computer is running on a athlon 64 x2 and a radeon x1600

also im running vista on my current computer and only xp on my old computer

Hmmm may be you could check if there is some program running in the background which takes a lot of CPU time (open the task manager). I'm sometimes experiencing slow downs when it's installing some update in the background, but it's only temporary.

I checked and there is nothing running that is eating everything up... and this really only happens on graal on other games (such as Counter Stike: Source) everything is fine.
