New LCD monitor
So I got a new LCD monitor for Christmas. It looks great when it's in its native resolution: 1280x1024. BUT... when playing Graal, for example, and I go to fullscreen. If I have the resolution at 1024x768, it'll have diagonal waves going through everything. This is really annoying because my computer can't handle Graal running in fullscreen 1280x1024. If I lower the resolution to under 1024x768, there's no waves, but everything is REALLY blurry. Either way, it doesn't seem like I'm able to run fullscreen apps right, including Graal. This is my first LCD, so any help here from those that have them?

Just some onboard crap: Xpert99/Xpert 2000, 8mb
My monitor before this worked fine in different resolutions. |
LCDs always get blurry if they arent used in their full resolution. I know, it sucks, but you cant really change it.

Switch some RAM to dedicated Graphics RAM. :/
EDIT: Also LCD only gets blurry or blocky if you go over there native resolution. I have had my monitor in many resolution and it works fine until I go over, although pushing it to 1800x1600 may of been pushing it. :P |
