Clarification of the Trading Card system.

I didn't notice this before, but it strikes me as odd. What exactly does this mean, "Dwarf Card Set, Blue version. Only valid this winter."

Are the cards going to disappear even after you've bought them, therefore you're only buying an effect for two weeks at best?

'Officially' it ends on March 20th, but judging from previous "Winter Subscription Packs" that have lasted for the December month, I doubt these cards would have lasted till March on Graal. Of course now it's been discussed they will, but is it even worth it?
