made a quick paint testing out my new Wacom :D
a whole new world has opened for me now :) it's way more fun and easy, it also has a pressure feature (for which who don't know), like the harder u press the thicker the line ;) for any digital illustrator without one I would strongly recommend you get one
anyways, here it is, as you see I've still got alot of practicing to do, which i will surely get on :D

i shall call it, the shiny, pointy stick on a cliff

BigBear3 12-09-2007 12:13 AM

On the second screenie, I love the skull thing and the body on the bottom right.

Kirble 12-09-2007 01:39 AM

You can see a definite improvement with your work, this has came a long way. Keep it up.

BigBear3 12-09-2007 02:06 AM

... I think I'll stick to drawing little pluffies. :)

I think your first painting is really cool.. My only issue with it, may actually be just a matter of style.. but I cant really tell if you did it purposely or just because you were feeling lazy.. The only thing messing up the painting in my eyes is the ammount of scribbly lines you have in the pictures.. it looks more like a sketch than a finished piece. I've seen this in many of your pictures before. You should really clean up your pieces.. I think they would totally rock if everything in the image have nice refined/smoothed out textures.. But other than that your work is very inspiring, keep it up! ^^

Knightmare1 12-09-2007 04:35 AM

how did you do this?! its great.

Stephen 12-09-2007 04:39 AM

Very nice concepts, but why don't you try cleaning them up and rendering them better?

xXziroXx 12-11-2007 08:59 PM

Superb work, Thom. Way better then back in the ol' days where you made me a steak graphic. :)

[Needs Improvement]
Needs to be a bit cleaner, and easier to see. It is a nice start, though.

Vimerge 12-13-2007 08:33 AM

I don't really see it needing improvement in the first place.

MrAnonymous_P2P 12-13-2007 03:46 PM

I really like it. I am not sure exactly what style you are going for. Most paintings I see do not look like everything is blurry. Even the ones that are speed painted still have definition.
