New stuff?
 
Not whining just making a list of fun things if anyone has anything else you can post it. I was just thinking of some fun new stuff. Preferably simple but I know some of it isn't. Just somewhere to throw out new ideas for stuff.

Weapons:
New grenades not like cake ones. Maybe a gravimine you could place around your base that freezes sleds for 30 seconds? (This would also work on bikes, mechs) Maybe just new things of that genre?
  • Gravmines
  • Smoke bomb


Worlds: I know this isn't as simple
Maybe that event world Jesse had planned.
New planets such as things like shooting through windows. (They would appear as black spots I guess) Then you could throw a grenade through or maybe climb slowly up buildings and jump through windows? It would take some time. Also like more teamwork like goals and involve bases but this time the bases could heal? What are some things that are somewhat simple in your opinion that would be more fun? New techniques etc?
What do you guys think? (Don't complain about lack of content or lack of staff but post good ideas or don't post at all..) Just new things that maybe they could whip out?

Switch say there be missions, Co Op and Single, yah yah. Form a party to do them. Different "Stations" in the same dropship, you can only enter from level 1 through your level. Level = Mission #, and there'd be more added once in a while, but not like once in a while meaning 1 every year, more like 1 every month if we get activ levelers(**), scripters(******), Ganiers [for new weapons] (*), and Graphics Team (*****)
* = How many people needed IMO. But Scripters I was being sarcastic incase you didn't know :p

Uhh well just thought about this but a quest system? Maybe you could get Gelats or Gelats items forever but well thats just a suggestion... Or maybe the quests could only be given to people that achieved rank X...

gelats aren't gonna be forever no more :( and if you got gelats without paying, there's no point in them

Gelats will be there for quite a while, as far as I know. Stefan's been making the Zone shop system a global shop system, so that it can be used for other servers soon aswell. It won't be gone soon for sure.

Anyway, I like some of those ideas, and I think we can work some stuff out on Debug. Perhaps we can create some big christmas release but I will discuss this with Stefan. I've been in lack of time for the past 2 days though, due some deadline for some project of my other job in real life.

I would love to see this idea put into place. People can donate money at a certain vendor, whenn you donate enough money the thing Gambet made for voting can be used and pops up for your team and you can vote for either base 1,2,3,4,5 and after 1 min of accepting peoples votes the thing will be cast and a giant bomb will be dropped at the selected base doing 78 points damage to everyone hit, the bombing will continue for 3 mins.

The hic about the doanting thingy is that people will surely evade crossing in that base's path. The idea is good but... still there are few problems about this idea. Maybe the bomb could have a HUUUUGEE radius of explosions around the place where there is the most players (of the enemy's team of course...). Also it was proposed that there could be a camera to see what's happening on the field and you could watch, I din't hate that idea it's pretty good...

I had another idea just to run by you guys.
Maybe have the terrain on each world be altered each round like the Iricia bases would move slightly and make secret passages could be added from one base to another each round. The passages could be taken in and out. Sound fun?

I like this idea... some kind of secret passage that would open now and then and pops up at different places... Like let's say there could be a trap door that pops in the ground. You press "A" and you enter it and it could make a passage that leads to a random base...

What would happen if your in the tunnel and then it moves? Would you be stuck there? You could just sit there and gain bounty.

I think it would be more like a secret passage but that would be taken out every few rounds.

Maybe you could put a time limit on how long you could be in it before it collapses..that way its guaranteed you keep moving.

I believe the bases stay the same and the tunnel is the same each round, unless you log out in the tunnel you won't be stuck, because if the round is over you are warped to the "Iricia Victory" level.

I think the way the grenade works needs some tweaking. You see, it doesn't really have a good range, so it makes it only about as useful as a "long ranged melee weapon." If we were able to adjust how far we were able to throw it, like making a gauge or something to show how much power will be put into the throw, that could make it more useful. This could make it useful for throwing it over sandbags, like it's supposed to be used- To get the enemy where you can't with normal gunfire. Or, if the gauge would take too long for players to use in thet middle of battle, they could use 'S' for a long range throw, or 'D' for a shorter ranged throw. Also, the fire-rate should be reduced by a lot, or at least fire slower for long ranged throws. Another solution for making the long ranged grenades more fair is to make them have a tiny delay, allowing aware players to get out of the way. (Sorry, no throwing it back.) The radius is okay, but maybe it should be increased a little bit so people don't have to run -one- tile away and be completely safe, while still shooting at the grenadier. Feel free to addon or suggest about this, and here's a screen shot demonstrating the grenade's short range.

SN, for your gravmine I was actually thinking if tripped, it creates a circle-ripple of shockforce and blows the enemy away (while doing damage).

And, what about Flashbangs? Would be quite helpful.

I also want to see my Team Deathmatch idea go into use :(

They haven't actually killed anyone with the jetpack. You equip a weapon, and then instantly equip the jetpack. Try it.

Another idea that I think would be cool that could help deal with size problems could be that when deathmatch gets over like 35 players the map could increase in size. I remember someone saying that when they had like 45 people on DM for an event that the map was overcrowded. I still think it would be cool if the layout for each map change every round or two.

That was me. xD Lag killed half the people, because of everyone spawning so close to each other, including me. :( But, DM becoming bigger when over 35 people are on it would be pretty nice, would suit better for big events.
