Amulets
 

This is not a bug but it's bugging me, last night i lost my mistletoe amulet when i got pked and a i've also had my Sigil of Thunder pked out of me in the past. Any reason why you drop amulets when you get pked? I've lost 2 good amulets now and 1 was really rare this should get fixed.

Yes it's because of the low value of the item, if we increase the value it will not be dropped when you're PK'd.

What about if you're carrying money?
If you carry a lot of money, will the amulets be spared?

who knows. Stefan has to fix this himself I believe... maybe bjorn could do it. he was having people pm account names and he fixes it.

The few times I have been in Bmode and been killed, I've never dropped my amulet. Maybe having it hidden unintentionally lowers the risk?

Most very likely... no, it doesn't help at all. (unless it IS intentionally scripted in to be so)
Someone who knows more about scripting can explain this, or just tell me I'm wrong.


But maybe someone can answer for-sure on the question of money?
Does money prevent amulets from dropping?

This is helpful to know in the mean time... who knows how long before they fix this.

you should send a forum pm to Bjorn. tell him what item you need changed so it doesn't drop. He will more than likely do this.

I had around 2k platinum on me at the time i got the amulet pked.

The amulets value were increased the last year, in january. You should not drop anymore all rare and value amulet, like the RDA/BDA ( and fragment ) , GPA, demon stone ans sigil of thunder. Stefan did it on my request when l was staff. But the amulet of speed and amulet of mistletoe were not modified, you still can drop them when you die.

These two should not drop either looking ath their value.

But yea, if you carry enough money then the money drops first.

So, by what Bjorn said, I guess you ended up with no money after getting killed?
That's the important part... whether or not you STILL had money after being killed

I had 2k platinum on me after i was killed and by what Bjorn said the amulets can't drop so i have no idea why mine did.
