Extremely Disgustting Emote Icon
 

Randomly I start getting this very stupid ctrl+c emotion icon that annoys me a lot.
I don't know HOW it happens, and sometimes it is a normal icon... with the question mark... I would like to know who is responsible for this disgusting mess that is my ctrl+c... ?

Yeah, I get that all the time.

It's been around for a while -- and I hate it. It's a huge turn off especially because I mean to say "?" and I'm getting god knows what.

I lost my ctrl c to that, and lost my ctrl w to a crappy "wtf" emote, the two I use most.

Shouldn't it be illegal for servers to replace default emotes?

You shouldn't even be able to replace them. Default images should be locked and should only be downloadable/updateable via the Login server :whatever:

I think thats kind of the same topic. Some clients seem to send different emoticon data, so I sometimes get an error that "emoticon_xd.png" was not found. I asked the one it happened to, he said he used ctrl + x and it worked just fine for him...

Would be nice if you could set/change the emotes on your ctrl keys.

what server does this occur on?

I spend most of my time on GK. It happens randomly... on any server really.

They have those emotes on Faded Legend.
I don't understand why anyone would overwrite them though, they are fairly easy script-wise to manipulate, instead of replace.

Until this is fixed, servers should probably just have it manually scripted to change to the correct emotes, because if this is intentional, that would be the best move

I'd get banned if I did, because that one actually is disgusting. Although this "ROU RUH" icon is inappropriate, it's hardly (as dramatically put) "extremely disgusting" and I think Tig needs to go explore the Internet a little more, or maybe outside.

I think it's saying "DUHURR" (like emphasis on "DUH!"). Think about it; going clockwise starting at twelve o'clock.

I'm not really feeling that disgust part yet. I don't even know what the thing is saying. Are those initials for some kind of racist group or something?
