i was scanning throgh the forums, when i found this image for an AK47, and i was wondering, is it being used? it was made by lancelot9.. if he was by anychance reading and no one else is using it could i use it?

Get better shaded and colored guns, then ask.

Ive seen that gun somewhere before just cant remember where.

Knightmare, it's not exactly a step in the right direction from deleting your server to getting a gun that someone else made.
My advice would be to get a good plot together for your playerworld, possibly step away from gun type content and come up with something original, then get a good team together.
People are more willing to help if you have plans set out.

Right, now you've decided on Vietnam War, write into details all the features of the server, etc. Have a READY plan.

Just to re-iterate. I never said you were using it when I posted, if you read, I said you are "getting a gun that someone else made", which would be, as you said, asking permission.

Anywho, follow others' advice and it could turn out good. Just try to hire the staff and flaunt your server more with a big write-up.

Vietnam was most definitely not WW2. World War Two was the war between the axis powers, consisting of Nazi Germany, Italy and Japan, and the allied forces, which consisted of Britain, USA, Russia and some other smaller powers.

Vietnam war was the war between USA and communism in Vietnam, I believe.

wow i was scanning some of the old images left over from utopia, geuss wat? there was another AK47 made by run41. there are so many graphics in there. there is an alternate tommy, too, yet ork chose to use the stolen one... and a pretty damn nice colt.

I always SUCKED at history.. although my downfall was probably me never paying attention to anything the teachers said. But either way.. that was quite possibly one of the funniest/most stupid questions i've ever seen on the forums. LOL >_<

But on subject.. I personally knew Lance and no he doesnt play graal anymore.. or does he really ever come around to talk to people that play graal anymore. If you're lucky you might see him log on the forums and reply to a thread or two. But I doubt he would want you using any of his graphics. That AK last belonged to Icarus.

I love history, but that was the single most ridiculously uneducated thing I've ever seen.

1) learn english
2) get a small graphics team. just random browsing the forums and asking some guys if they let you use their gfx has nothing to do with originality, and since you will need a tileset and anything if you plan a vietnam server now, just give it up or get a graphics artist.

Aye, few youths these days respect the men who valiantly fought and faced the horrors of WW2 who bravely put their lives on the line to bring down the true face of evil. Hell, some even claim Hitler as a "cool guy". How sad they are...
