Kingdom stand renting.
 

when you rent a stand on a kingdom island it only lasts 1 hour. I think the price should be more like 100 plat and maybe last 1 week. 1 hour is not very long compared to how many people visit the kingdom islands.

Agreed. Noone will ever visit the island during that hour.

However, house-stores make the idea of the town market obsolete.

I've been gone for a while, and when I was playing, house-stores were just a house with market-stands inside and you needed to just find them. Now it seems they're automatically marked on our maps.... correct?

Maybe the kingdom stand renting should be removed.
A common one like G2k1 had was nice.
So maybe we should have a single stand-renting area on the main island, and remove those of the kingdoms?
Also, when you put an item on a stand, you should be able to specify between 2 currencies- coins or diamonds.
The same option should be true for house market stands.

Now people will be able to get diamonds for their items without being online.
Maybe this will help the economy?
Or hurt it... I honestly don't know.

well house icons don't appear on the map unless you travel by the house thats open. Then it will appear on your map.

Good idea, but i don't think it would hurt the economy because you can make it known that you are selling an item on the market sub forum which has the same sort of idea that people can leave a message for you when your not online, this idea just cuts out the middle man in this case the market sub forum.

I might see about editing that system some time so you can sell your items for any currency you want (like diamonds, rubies, etc instead of just plat)

I don't think it should be made 100plat for a week... However i do think there should be the option to increase the time you wish to display items for sale. So if 100plat = 1 hour | a week = 168 hours | cost of a week = 16,800 plat which is roughly 33 diamonds. Not really that much if you sell the right stuff in the store, but i guess you could still come at a loss depending on who actually visits that island and your market stall... I don't think market stalls would make much money with our current playercount / avaliability of items... pretty much the only items on sale would be those worth 1-5 dias, with the rare 10+.

Rent money from market stalls should be passed on to the kingdom that rent was payed on.

well it seems the kingdoms set there own price. On ZR it is 2 plat for 1 hour. On CP it is 40 plat for 1 hour.

We know why ZR's price is so low :noob:
It kinda doesn't matter anyway... Without a good playercount (80+) kingdom stands are not a good system... Besides, people don't mind travelling to trade centres after massing their sales.

ZR has always been two plat. Even when there was 100+ people

I meantioned playercount because most stands won't even be visited in a month because there really aren't enough players online, let alone players who travel to kingdoms to shop. 95% of all transactions are done in trade centres, people run from other kingom isles to goto a trade centre to trade. If there were market stands in the small unused field in bomboria NE (where tree's and useless bomy's currently reside in) which had a realistic rent fee and a time limit of 236hours (2weeks), then stands would be of use. Money collected from these main island stands would prolly go towards EM salary's (they should be funded in-game for their services, if they don't already) and prizes.

I suggested putting stands on main a long time ago... but Bjorn said no. I don't see him changing his mind. Changing Bjorn's mind is like prying a nail out of solid oak with your bare hands. So, you would have to go above him, which is Stefan... but, he is too busy wasting his time on G3D and updating client(not a waste).

I'm sure the nail can be easily removed if the proper tools are used :p
Having stands in main is nothing big, besides, there's tons of space on main waiting to be used, especially that useless fenced area in NE bomboria. I suggested bomboria because it's practically the capital (not sure if thats official).

It should not be in Bomboria. The other towns are already unused as they are. It seems every new update to main gets put in bomboria. Use the other towns... Thats what they're there for... am I right?
