There sould be a spot in the q menu gui for luck. Does anyone else agree with me on this?

Maybe, but not really, considering your default luck level is 0 and it only adds on as much luck as each item gives you... so it shouldn't be hard to add on luck+1 to 0 if you're wearing lucky boots.

It would settle the question of whether clovers and other items actually raise your luck and by how much, though.

Clovers do not raise the player's luck. However, if they did, the item's realname has the ability to have (luck +) in it, so it would show if it did grant any luck at all. I think it's safe to say that the only items that grant luck+ are the items that clearly state it in the name when it's examined. Even if a clover had (luck+1) on it, since it's food it would need something else because when you apply an object to your mudplayer it takes on the attributes of the item, you don't apply the food to your mudplayer, so you wouldn't take on it's affects like luck+1, con+1 or str+1.

are you sure everybody starts with the same luck? I remember before the lucky neclace. Draxx got better drops than a lot of people. It seemed like he was luckier than most.

Luck doesn't affect drop items, it only affects rapture/holy presence/blessing and the chances of you failing or learning a spell/prayer/skill.
