Hello just managed to create my forum account (Credits to the staff who helped me for the help ticket I made) so I tought I could post my first gun GFX I made (Of course it took alot of time and practice to reach an actual real look...)

Well it's better then what I could have made. Fixed your pic too.

Theres a strange box around it, usually that means you used an image off of google and edited it :o from my experience anyways... It is a bit to small.

It's like that because Azeroth saved it as JPEG. Nefir's doesn't have the box.

It's not that bad considering it'd your first. More detail is needed in it, and a bit more various shades of the colors. They're too light.

Nah i dint google it it just always do that... there is always that kind of box for that kind of file i think... on my other guns i made at my mother's house there is that box too... i think it's to make the color look more shaded... But nah i dint google it and by the link there is in my first post, it is the title of the work and it wouldn't be that icon on the left if i took it from google...

Nefir if you change it try making the file type a png. :)

Ok but how do I change the file to png? Well for now I tryed making it a little darker (sorry don't know how to shift the file to a lil square thing like Az did...)

Is there a difference if it's set up at jpeg or png? Switched it to png...

There's not box around the png. JPEG lowers the quality if you don't change it the right way.

Naw. Jpeg always lowers quality.

Well yeah it is lowered it was supposed to be darker than that but well in my opinion it is way to light than it as supposed to be

nice gun even thou we already have to many plasma's omm well if u want ot take ur gun to the next lvl resize it and show it equipped ... well theres my 2cents lol:D

lol Well yeah I tought about it being plasma but well there is tomany plasma so why not make it energy maybe... Tho I'm not at my father's house for a bit of time so I'll have to wait to do so but what is the program I can use to make it like if it was held?

Looks ok, but i don't like the back handle thing is shaped.

And keep in mind you need to make different views of the gun. So didn't get to excited. >_>

Whew finally finished the other views and changed the bullets so the gun won't be a plasma type but an energy type so here it is. I tought tha maybe it could be hung at the character should just like the photon but I don't know how to make the gun be equipped by a character so I don't know if the size is too small/big

Yeah but well I don't really know how to do and up/down view but critics on how to improve it are sure welcome...lol it looks like a claw (up/down view)

Think of how it would look if you held it up. It'd probably have a cylinder-ish shaped thing of purple, which what I presume is the bullets (plasma?), a couple pieces going upwards towards the cylinder, the notch-thing at the end where you push down to set the bullets (Don't think it's needed on this gun though for various reasons), then drastically (if you can call it that) go down for the ammo-hole.

Note: THIS IS CC SO DONT BASH ME ON THIS RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! !pissed! :D ;)

Weirdly, using a PNG file makes my guns looking paler/lighter...

ure shading needs work, and it just looks like that in the thunbnail, you need to click on it

THey still dont follow my advice on up/down.

lol when switch say up/down he means the top and bottom of the gun not it flipped sidways lol...;)

Tried to improve it when I was bored... Still lighterpaler than it should be...changed the ammo thingy to a plasma ammo thingy that can be considered some kind of handle for the second hand...

Well I don't really understand what you want me to do with it it's kind of confusing :/

When you make an up/down view you can't see the handle or the side of it, only the top. look at some Zone pistols...

I'll remake the shading for the back part of the gun fo the left/right view and change the handle...

FOr some reason, i think it looks like a ghostrifle and/or pumpkin rifle, just with different shadings.

LOL OMM I WOULD HELP U OUT WITH UR STRUGGLES BUT I CAN BARLEY SEE THE GUNS IT SO SMALL SO YEA.....srry for the caps ;$
