Events Team Chief
 

So, Zone needs an Events Team Chief. They can't keep relying on Dan to do stuff since he's not supposed to be doing that and he can make pretty ill advised decisions based on just because someone helped him (MightyLord). Although I have been talking to him and he doesn't seem to be bad but still just because someone helps you doesn't mean they should get more privledges then other people just because they said "I wanna help" first. Stefan is good to decide, but he's so unable to help since his workload is SOOOOOOO vast. Huwajux has become completely inactive and unable to be on and it's hard to follow someone when they're never on. Plus A LOT of people feel that Huwajux has been growing.....distant from everyone.

As it currently stands the only real candidates are Jesse and I, we're both perfectly qualified. Jesse has been on the team longer, but he is more involved with Zodiac. I myself have tried to keep in touch but been playing Zodiac, now I'm sick of it and quit so I will hardly ever be on and I can't stand any other servers so I'll just be on Zone (for now)

Basically the ET Chief will be in charge of hirings, firings, adding item slots and being able to ban players. It's up to the Chief if they want to hire an Assisstant Chief. If another staff such as Stefan or Dan wants to add someone to the Events Team they have to run it by the Chief.

P.S. This was Stefan's idea to begin with and I turned it down because I thought that people would vote just because Jesse is their friend and not because of qualifications. I now see we need an ET Chief more then ever.

Hmm, i choose neither for the reason Anubis said, And plus he's a total prick to me :D (Even if i do nothing!). But this change most likely will not happen. Huwajux is busy with school. He'll be back soon.

I miss huwa :( Well with all due respect for not wanting to tear down jesse I feel he isn't on much even though he is a "senior et". Puppy is just too knew at this as is myself. Anubis has proven he is a good choice. But I also want a check and balance system. So perhaps crono or jesse could do a duo with anubis? Its not that I don't trust anubis but that way if there are problems it can be split between the two of them. Also not to tear jesse down but I don't feel he respects himself by doing drugs. D.A.R.E. If I can't have a duo though I vote for Anubis.

Well, I vote for anubis, I'm sorry jesse, your nice and and evrything, but i've seen anubis more and I know he'll be really great as Et Cheif, and I hope he doesn't pick the wrong people to hire, but i'm guessing he's going to hire switch right away ;) just a guess :o

if you havent noticed, only 5/10 are active. that isnt fair. i am on almost every day (exept when im at school, hockey, or a friends place) and i havent played a event (other than hide and seek) in the past 2 weeks. if at least one was on every day, that is alot better for the public and the server. i remember asking jesse, "will ETs be hiring sometime?" and all he said was, "we have enough ETs". i said that when i was like soilder, and had like 1.5k kills and 3k deaths.

I gave Desear rights to Deathmatch just because when I asked about him everyone seemed to WANT him as staff. I just want to see if his activity will rise with this, if not I'm gonna remove him.

anubis, i dont get it though. i have been here scince.. well.. i dunno 05 or sumthing on trial accounts and one of the only people i have ever seen ask for the ET thing are all noobs, elites, or oldbies.

Uh, Hate to break it to you Knightmare1, but just because I am not on when you are doesn't mean I am not active, plus I just got PA yesterday, and yes, I did host a few events some in the evening, and then a couple later at night, where Jesse helped me host one for 100 pipes.

Also, I just came back about a week or so ago, I haven't been on Zone because I left, because of V5, killing off Zone, now that players are comming back, I am as well.

Also on the note of why you haven't been given the chance of ET is because of many factors, I don't know exactly what they look for, but some of these things could possiable be what they want a ET or PA to have.

Some things that make a good ET/PA(In my opinion):

+Trust- Knowing the person will not abuse, and just saying, "i willst nevers abusez" does not cut it, you need time to build trust.

+Attitude- Not being mean to other people, not losing your cool over little things, and keeping a nice head under pressure.

+Experience- How long you have been playing does help, if you have been in Events to know the swing of them, and know how they run.

+Knowledge- Not to be mean, and offend anyone, but if you are smart, then you will be a better ET then others, you need to memorize some commands, because you don't always have time to do, /adminhelp.

and i played scince 05. trial accounts oblivion619 and oblivion182. i am trustworthy, i have never scammed, if possible. and plus, i own a server. if my friends log on they go, "liek omgz i r is wanna bes staff heer, i are ur budz"
and i dont just add random weapons. thats like going on a classic server and becoming manager and hiring everyone i like as ET. and lol, i have no attitude. im not like the guys who go, "OMG URZ NOOB I PWN YOU BISH!!!" and if someone kills me i dont whine i just come back and try again. o and deaser i should let you know I WAS ONLINE WHEN YOU HOSTED THE EVENTS! and v5 shouldnt be a reason to stop playing. if it wasnt for v5 i wouldnt have so many kills cuz all the noobs stopped playing and i got to fight p2ps with big bountys. v5 didnt kill zone, it only killed trials.

So what? That's not what he meant. By experience he meant how to run them, what kind of eventsto host, etc. Commands you can learn once you get the job.

I've been playing since 05 too. ON A MEMBERS ACCOUNT. No one knew me as well as now back then though. Quit your whining, you're just going to make yourself seem as a less worthy candidate for PA/ET.

IM TELLING MY MOMMY ON YOU!! xD unless those ETs are online at 2:00 in the morning, or while im at school, then they are inactive. and deaser is inactive i havent see in the last 3 weeks when he is online more than 20 minutes. (other than yesterday for around an hour) and i oculdnt care less about name being ET or deaser being PA, it is staff who chose them, so they must have done something to earn it.

1) They live in a different part of the world, so yes, they probably are.
2) Desear jsut got back from something, did you here? He just got PA yesterday, did you hear?
3) Name* has been banned from Zone and fired. Tat's what he said

name was banned? wow, how sad. u become an ET and then do somthing dumb enough to get banned. and did you hear, Steve was globbaly banned? i only figured that out 2 days ago...

Lets tone down the flaming, and turn this back to what the original idea was who should be ET Captain.

Now, I am not trying to be mean, but I think Jesse should be ET, because he has alot of experience, and was always there with Huwajux when choosing ETs, so he knows what to look for, and what to look out for. Also, he may have not been as active as he would like to have in the past, he was having account issues, i.e. Trial, Observer Mode.
