Unfinished houses are now automatically removed

The house building has been improved so that unfinished houses will automatically be removed after two weeks. This should clean the kingdom islands a little bit.
The houses will also put some items on the ground (stones, boards, nails) based on the items that have already been added to the house. Right-click a house to see when its getting removed.

No, it means it will be harder (a bit).

Well, unless an unfinished house is occupying a piece of land you really want to build on.

Thanks, i've been waiting for this update :)

yay no more crappy frames polluting the kingdoms islands. This will also clear some space for more useful stuff =D

Yeah because there's just TONS of people walking around these areas to begin with...

Gerami start actually playing kingdoms. On a few kingdom islands there are unfinished houses literally littering the islands. I think dustari and zormite are a few.

Now people are forced to finish them. Let them complain. If you don't have the time to do it then don't be starting it.

A nice little update and i like to see staff responding to issues/problems brought up by players. Just a question, if one is in the process of building the house, but for some reason is delayed, will the two week timer be reset upon every section of the house completed?

ViperZakuto 10-29-2007 08:56 PM

i seriously doubt it. from what i heard it only lasts 12 days period.

12 days is a long time to build a house i've built a house on GK in about 3 hours.

Some people (namely myself) have an unreliable internet service that's been known to magically die for weeks. I'm not sure if other people suffer from this, but would really suck if Cox killed your future house.

The timer is restarting when finishing a new part of the house.

I was playing GK while you were still in your Graal diapers...or quite possibly before you were concieved (to keep the baby analogy going).

Ok.

ViperZakuto 10-30-2007 05:37 AM

cool, corrected =D

Ravenblade1979 10-30-2007 03:14 PM

Still though I think if you can't finish your house in the alloted time don't bother building it in the first place...work slowly to build up your supply then build it.

ViperZakuto 10-30-2007 08:42 PM

yeah but at least they dissappear now though. people just put a house frame and leave it will be done. If they get to the last part and leave it it will be gone.

Ravenblade1979 10-30-2007 08:50 PM

then have the stuff altogether or don't bother building

Whats about real updates like rebalancing? Iam not sure if this adds any options than lifting some loads of the npc-server.

It's still a needed update, unfinished houses were getting too much tbh. It should have been like this from the start.

I don't know why people make these sort of hostile comments, especially towards someone who doesn't talk nonsense - and when he does, it's very obvious that he is.
