Sounds in the Item Menu
 

We have made the usage of team sounds (cover me, go go go etc.) much easier - you can see the sounds in the item menu and map keys to them. This is Gold-only.

When playing a team sound then an icon with your head is appearing on the left side of the screen of the other players so that they know who has played the sound. Also there is a spam filter which only allows playing a sound approximatelly each 5-10 seconds.

Wow, both lookin' good!

Perhaps the microphone one could be used for microphone in teamchat? So you press a button and it appears, then when you speak into your microphone people on your team can hear you. Would be a lot like a game of mine I play, just can't remember the name! Oh well! :rolleyes:

Oh ya, I guess you haven't heard some zone players inrl yet have you? (Thinks of DD) Damn, scary stuff.I realy don't think people wanna hear ''noises'' in the background as a ''joke'' either.

I wouldn't mind that. Its a lot more easier than typing then getting lamed right away. Its also easier to warn other people of whats coming at them.

Roflmao, I agree with that statement heavly, but it would be a nice update, just have an option to mute them or wait... we already have one!

Much like Desear stated, there would be an option to mute players. E.G. One for the players to mute people they don't want to hear "/mute <account>" and one for the admins to mute people who are abusing their rights to use a microphone such as swearing multiple times just to annoy other players "/adminmute <account>".

The admin muting would mute both text and microphone of an individual to all players.

I'm willing to bet 9/10 of the people on zone won't have a clue how to mute someone, though. Maybe if this update occurs you could put in a quick paragraph describing how to do it?

rofl im 13 and i have a squrrelish voice... i think that people wouldnt wanna hear such a squeky little voice while they are playing a war game...
