Additions for task list.

I think there should be a little more info on the training. Before you finish the task list it should describe how to mine without a pick(nobody figures out to kick the rock and not punch it,) baking, explain more about wizardry(talisman,Ledgermain), explain about gods and wisdom, and how to steal.

These are basic things that need to be known from the start. Some even being class specific. I would say most people get turned away from lack of knowing basic tasks. Don't tell me this is a FAQ job, because a FAQ can't be guaranteed to be on 24/7. I have no problem answering these questions... it's just sad to see how many people actually don't know the basics of the game.

This sounds like a good starting project for Andrew =D. I know he can gfx, gani, and script. maybe have some people help with some stuff. Give him some rights to do this on debug(if he hasn't been hired already), and see how it turns out. I he doesn't do a good job, you have backups and can restore anything that is messed. I will even type out what each npc will say if you would like.

If I have missed anything that needs to be added, let me know.

Well it sort of is the FAQ job. I mean thats what you were hired for. Even then there is me and a ton of other people who can help new people out with questions like that. Yeah maybe it should be part of the task list at some point. Right now though I pretty much think it lies to FAQ to help people with questions like that.

well these are basic skills that people need to know. There isn't a ton of people on from 3-9 AM EST. Usually like 3-10 people at most. If there was more training in the beginning of the game, more people would be more likely to play(more money) cause they don't have to wait to ask someone or a faq to come on.

Yes FAQ's were hired to help people. But imo, FAQ's shouldn't have to teach the basics of a game. I have no problem answering questions. I love doing this job. I just think it would attract more newer players.

lol, that's exactly what I was thinking, I just noticed I have that skill but I can't use it :(

if you wanna steal. Start with bunnies or something low level. shoot the enemie with an arrow. hotkey stealing. make sure your in line with, facing the moster, and not too far from the monster. hit the steal hotkey and you might steal it. If the monster notices your pilfering, kill it and move on to the next one.

if he doesn't notice your pilfering, and you steal the arrow back. repeat the process =D

It's not the FAQs' job to tell you how to play. To help you, yes, but not to tell you how.
