Floating islands name
 

Alright lets have a little brainstorm on official names for the Ancient Floating island and the Floating pk island.

In two days I will make a poll for each and whatever the winner is by sunday I will use for each island.

I have a few. 1. Kaimetsu, 2. Epic Island, 3. Island of the Ancients, and 4. Oda rocks. I doubt the pk Island will be known by anything but Battle Island unless there is something really special there.

Heaven. It's the most obvious choice for a giant floating island, you know if one popped up 100s of years ago they'd have called it that

I'm going to get extremely pissed off if the bmode island is not going to be used for ALOT of things, other than events/pk-fun/kingdom war battle ground...

...You did not just dub it "Battle Island"... You know exactly what will happen with a name like that... You'll never put any work into it, it'll just be a stupid lump in the clouds that maybie (If your lucky), one a year, you might see an actual player on it x_x

It must have an 'Actual Name'... And i must stress that it has to be used ALOT in things like quests, higher level dungeons, events, trading, shops, smithy's (unique items) and many other things... the bmode island should be ALOT better than the stupid pmode one...

Omg, idea! Let the bmode island have outlaw/renegade run shops, trades etc, and no laws there, so yes, 18+ only. Quests and stuff there should have like level req's :o and if you die on a quest, you must restart it, so yea, laming will be soooooo funneh. "ZOMG FOR TEH LASTEH TIME, I IZ JUS TRYIN 2 DO DA QUESTSOR!!! LEAVE MEH ALUNE!!!"

Forgotten Battlefield as a name.

If i could dev i'd already be on debug x_x

Nothing with battle/pk or anything lame like that, this place can't just be known as a 'battle ground' -.- It'll be all bmode, but it'll act as a seperate island altogether, imagine mainland in bmode? Like that.

Smugglers Haven?

Smuggler's Haven sounds awsome for pk island.

Smugglers Haven = Floating PK island

Aetheriam = Floating Non PK Island\

remember to make both islands useful, so they get used lol

Alot better, but i think that sounds more like a nickname rather than an actual 'name'. I'd say take one from the list bosh has given. But let it be reffered to as 'Smugglers Haven' by some npc's and in some scrolls.

For floating isle, How about "Isle of the dead" since it has alot of ruins and graveyards.
If that isnt good, how about "Isle of Raven" becuase Raven made it on his own lol

Thats what the other island is for, to avoid lamers.

I am not really that self absorbed. I mean is anyone really going to remember/care about any of this in the future? Either way, this is what is what I meant:

Really, even if it's given a name it won't necessarily by widely used (the Northwest mountain is named "Mount Antora" but nobody calls it that anymore.)

But if it's going to be named, I'll back "Kaimetsu" as well. Although being that strictly speaking, "Kaimetsu" means "destruction", something like "Kaimetsu Island" might be better suited to the so-called "Battle Island".

Sounds too lame...

... It's not really laming, it's just unjustified slaughtering...
