A new server.
Our goal is to make a Fantasy/RPG, by Fantasy we mean, whatever comes to mind, that type of stuff. We will have our own tileset, its being worked on now, by DeCeaseD

We will have swords, and spells. Possibly anything else that comes in with fantasy.

Anywho, I will wish you good luck with your endeavor however I think it be wise you should plan some as most servers fail within the conception stages. (See Dusty's timeline)

I was referring to Mr. Anonymous who came with an unnecessary comment towards the poster of this thread. Stay out of it Thrash.

It wasn't unnecessary rather being a little harsh. He is right that this guy doesnt really have a set unique idea so i doubt hes going to get far. And with how developers go these days, really hard to get quality ones.

It's not it's unlikely he's going to get far, it's that it's unlikely he will attract positive attention from the tough-crowd forums unless he does everything according to what most people on the forums like to see.

And I'm sure there are a few quality developers out there, waiting for something. It may take time, but I'm sure if a playerworld shows it's promise in ideas, it will be called back by promising developers, so I'd say the best thing to do for this guy would be to throw out some quality ideas that will blow the other RPGs away, and he might get something going here.

Please rethink your ideas and compile them together and edit your first post, or make a reply.

Fantasy/RPG isnt an idea at all. Doesnt describe anything that would interest worthy developers to come to you. Thats why you have to think this out before you buy one. But now with this new system, theres jut tons of new playerworlds because people can now pay without paypal.

I think Fantasy/RPG is well overdone and is too Tolkeinesque. He's a genius but it's spawn a herd of sheep. People need to break out of the mentality and do something completely new but also cool :)

It'll go somewhere if you told us a good reason why it would...saying "rpg lol" and having them re-create with the same process of weapons isn't proving much of anything besides that you can overwrite Zodiac like it did to Maloria.

Switch and deceased own their own servers and im sure the other 2 arent good. I logged on their and saw icky levels. I mean wth, combine a house with a cliff? Though all ended in a hilarious "vacation".

I don't see how fantasy/RPG is overdone when Graal has yet to see a good fantasy/RPG(of course, this is assuming you were talking about fantasy/RPG on Graal).
Kingdoms is... well the experience curve is terrible, NPC's are laggy, the world isn't that interesting, and there's not really a history.
Zodiac, well I haven't played there much to make too big of a critique about it, but the graphics are horrible, and from what I heard, so is everything else development wise.

I'd love to see a good RPG/fantasy server. One that has a history written, great NPCs with personalities and lives, interesting areas, a world that links everything together, that makes sense. Something that seems like it could actually be about a real world.

This is a bit off-topic, but don't discredit the idea of a RPG/fantasy just because everyone seems to be making one--no one actually has succeeded yet, at least a good one.

Yes, and you have futher proven my point by simply pointing out that alot of attempts has failed. This guy has yet to give us a story line, or anything rather than just the general theme. And with not very credible staff, do you give your high regards to his server?

Maybe you should give it a chance before being so negative. So what if alot of attempts have failed, eventually some will make it, and giving so much negativity is not helping people want to keep going and try harder.

Sure, some will fail, but some will also succeed.

I could care less. I don't see the point in going off on people trying to make servers(even when they probably won't make it) and trying to discourage them. How does anyone benefit from it? It's not like me telling this kid not to go on and try to make a server is going to somehow help Graal. Either he tries to make a server and fails... and that has no real detrimental effect on Graal as a whole, or he tries to make a server and succeeds. What's the big deal if he tries to make a server with a high risk of failing? Why the hell should I care? It's not like I paid for it.

All im really saying is that hes yet to give any information on this server at all or even any sneakpeaks of what it will look like. And that wont bring credible staff.

He fired me, who paid 30$ of the 60$.

He even banned everyone on who wasnt staff. How nice.

The only amazing developer I see is Sage.

Good owner to be firing you i must say. And you just ban anyone who doesnt like your server ROFL. He banned me for 6 days because i said his levels werent good. And thats what you get for just sending money via paypal. next time you should use the developer guild.
