Terrain Improvements
1 Attachment(s)
The attached image highlights two of the problems I've encountered whilst working with terrains: stretched tiles and flat tiling. Which brings me to my suggestion!
Instead of tiles being stretched between each terrain grid section, would it be possible to perhaps to be able to control how terrain maps are tiled? It would be interesting if we could define what images/offsets are used for what heights so we could define, say, heights 30-35 to use a repeating pattern of "grass-snowy.png". It could also work better if the image was just repeatedly tiled from left to right instead of being stretched between points. We could have unscalable cliffs that actually look like cliffs! :D I don't know how possible this is but it would be cool ^^ |
I dont think this will ever be changed, but the actualy idea is very nice.

Could be nice, and would maybe encourage playerworlds to do terrain ;o
