Menu's
 

I have tried over and over again to make a frickin menu. All I want it to do, is when you press 'A' it shows a menu and you can select 2 different sub menu's. Items, and Equipment. If anyone can script this, please send it to [email protected] Or if you could teach me...I would prefer to be taught rather than just take.

Anyone? Is anyone willing to teach me how to make a menu, where you can press A to access it, and then use the arrows keys to select the sub menus?

I asked in anyone could please teach me how to make menu's. I said in the first post that I would preferably want to be taught, rather than just take the script from someone.

You don't have to repeat yourself...people are reading this but either they don't know how or don't want to help. Personally, I'm just too lazy to do that right now, but it's a good idea!

Haha now I'm gonna go script a menu now that I've got the idea from you, and I'm gonna put it on my PW that I'm gonna make! and then I'm going to ask people to make levels for me because I'm too lazy! And then when the PW gets on I'm going to complain about my corrupt staff that I shouldn't have hired, but did because I was desperate!

Menu's have been aroudn for ages.

Argh, Dang Cap'n. Oh well, Mine will be alot different...once i learn to script it.

Its ok go ahead and do that status menu Im fine with it, just dont take gfx =-) or scripts

You put most of the text in 'Sample' in white areas. :eek:

Where are all the really-good-scripters-that-always-help-people-out when you need them?

Well I usually only post NPC's as help here for which I'm sure they'll work and if they're not too big, this type of script is slightly bigger so I'm not typing it

Could you teach me though?

it is a nw command and you need a npc server (compared to what i used to know about scripting damn i know alot :) )
