Problems With Level/Gmap Generator

2 Attachment(s)
I'm Using The Default Level Generator (What Else Is There? lol)
I've Ran Both of the Images Through gif2mng, I made them originally with Paint.
Any Ideas?
I'll Be On The Playerworld "Carbon" If You Can Help. (I'm Never On This Forum - I'm Always On NPCs :P)

Paint doesn't save them as 8-bit, which is needed. You'll have to find a program(like photoshop) that can save 8-bit PNG's.
Also, while MSPaint can save as GIF, it applies its own palette, so it'll most likely screw up the colors needed to generate the levels.

or you could just edit the example picture that graal give you. if you open it with paint it will save the 8 bit part instead of recreating a 24 bit (i think)

Ya, he can do that.

But I Ran It Through gif2mng, Doesn't that convert it?
Also, I Read The Instructions.html or Whatever and It told me the RGB values, I edited the color palette With the colors given.

Why gif2mng it? Just put the gif through the level editor?

If he's using MSPaint to save it as GIF, it's gonna screw up the palette. He's gotta find another way.

Just download an 8-bit .png converter. It will transfer any graphics you drag over it to 8 bit png

Uhm? MSPaint's gif works fine.. I've done it several times like that xD

I use paint dot net and then save it as a dot gif...works fine for me :S
