New quests maybe?

Would it be too hard to make a quest using maybe the current k-mode and building quests out of it? or something similar to k-mode. this way you could make enemies easier cause everybody would be set on stats.

I think gk needs some hack and slash quests where you get items. The current quest system gets kinda boring. Take this here, trade this there, find this somewhere?

The problem with quests is that they don't give much return for what developers have to put into them. It takes quite a while for a developer to make a decent quest whereas players generally only actually play through the quest one time.

New quests coming please be patient.

Instead of a new quest I'd rather see a new area, or an abandoned area filled with monsters. Then culminating in a boss/lord type monster that drops either decent items or new alchemy materials. Doesn't have to be often but to get the chance to get better equipment without trading your life or events would be a nice improvement. Though would have to do something about all the people that would camp it.

One long, rewarding quest is better than several short repetitive quests...
I hope whatever quests are comming, are classic-style and not the current gk-style which i love&lothe...

Suprisingly enough I am starting work on 3 new area's for just this purpose Sage.

ViperZakuto 09-02-2007 07:30 PM

well my idea is to use the current k-mode or something similar to it. If you use the system we have now most peaople have full gear +12 so it would be no fun.

they could make monsters more suitable to level. Instead of a lvl 1 with all +12 gear mowing through the dungeon. and maybe at the end of the dungeon put some pretty hard monsters that would take quite a few lower lvl's to kill.

You're just going to complete the quest in a couple hours at most and then go back to being bored and start complaining again anyways.

Well since almost everyones physical resistance is 99 already, the only way monsters will be suited for players of different levels is to have either un-resistable attacks such as weaponmagic or to have other effects such as fire/ice/elec etc.

If you want to have monsters be able to fight well against the powerful players, have them bypass ac and take out a percentage of the player's health instead of a set amount of damage.
