Developer Packs Available

The new developer packs are now available !
It's not cheaper than the normal server renting, but it lets you share the costs between several developers. A developer guild requires 3 members with developer pack, then the server will automatically be created once you login to the server list. The price is $19 for a half year and $34 for a full year.

To buy a developer pack go here:
http://www.graalonline.com/playerworlds/stores/upgrade

To create a developer guild (3 members with dev pack required) go here:
http://www.graalonline.com/playerworlds/guilds/guildcp
and click on "Submit a new developer guild". The developer guild still needs to be approved by an admin (it's a guild after all) but only requires 1 member to go active.

To go on your server, simply open the server list. You will see a new server on the list called "Guild <yourguildname". The member with the highest rank will automatically get full rights and the other members will automatically be added as staff. A server that doesn't meet the requirements anymore will automatically be closed. To verify that you have a developer pack you can see the subscriptions on the server list screen.

PS: we have also fixed the problem of leaving guilds

You have two different currency formats on the store page. Atleast it shows me USD for most and then Euros(i think?) for the new entries.

Still, nice! :D

That will make life a lot better in terms of power. :D

Nice!

Sure? 19 * 3 = 57 and 34 * 3 = 102...ones cheaper, ones more expensive...ehh..

cyan3 08-30-2007 10:05 PM

If you are already the leader of a VIP guild can you still create a developer guild?

Admins 08-30-2007 10:44 PM

It should work, if not then we will make it working.

Switch 08-31-2007 12:17 AM

Stefan make it so the servers that are online from previous purchases now are also listed, and that new one to come are, too, for 1-player bought ones. :(

Still, it's cheaper for players themselves.

theHAWKER 08-31-2007 02:42 AM

Alot of servers aren't going to last very long with 3 owners...

So true lol

I'm guessing it's like Owner/Manager > Co Owner/Co Manager > Admin

Agreed @ Twinny && Zero

I think its this kind of not professional caring of a playerworld that kills them...

Crow 08-31-2007 02:13 PM

Owner, Manager, (maybe several) Admin(s), everything below. Might get a bit complicated with those dev packs :D

It's called "Graal tradition".

Its easy
Owner Owner Owner
Manager (If the owners are too lazy to Manage their own servers...wtf?)
OTHER RANKS HERE

The owners of the Dev packs are the owners of the servers...In my opinion I say you can make your own staff positions!

The person with most skill should be manager/owner and goes like that.

Besides they should already have this figured out or are friends to know.

Twinny 09-01-2007 07:57 AM

I'm pretty sure it would go, "You joined my dev guild so suck it!"

DustyPorViva 09-01-2007 08:15 AM

Draw a straw.

If 3 people buy a playerworld, all 3 paying an equal amount, then all 3 should be equal owners of that playerworld.

Yeah, we all know how well that's going to work out. :p

I know, but that's the way it should be regardless.

Twinny 09-01-2007 02:48 PM

Unless these partnerships are worked out beforehand, I prefer the, "You joined my dev guild. I am king!" system. Perhaps a PWA could negotiate power before the server is created if requested.

Yeah, and graal friends are lost most usually in development.

I mean, it's not like this is mandatory, we shouldn't really need to complain, because no matter what that 1 person can always pay $100.

HoudiniMan 09-02-2007 10:31 PM

I'm fairly sure we will treat the "highest ranked" person in the guild as the last authority on stuff that isn't agreed on.

You can only have 1 leader of a guild, they will have to decide themselves.

Bell 09-03-2007 04:50 AM

I agree with Houdini, putting it on the PWA to solve partnership disputes is definitely out of the question. They need to work out those details before becoming partners.
