I'm in no way related to the development of the server, I'm just posting to give you guys a heads up. Basically they now have a nice RPG system which is kind of fun because (assuming you use the sword) the slashing is kind of fast. This means you can run around pressing S quickly hitting multiple monsters for fun.

The monsters themselves are nicely done, they aren't buggy and get knocked back when you hit them. Of course when they hit you, you get knocked back (so they can't lame you). The server is in German (so I don't understand anything) but some parts are translated for English players.

Should check it out, I actually enjoy it.

First screenie shows a frog hitting me, I get knocked back and the red is part of an animation that comes up when you hit a monster or they hit you.

Second screenie is me hitting 3 monsters at once (you can do that and it's quite fun because you feel less restricted...has a more classic feel).

Now I have a reason more then my playerworld to get back on a plane to NY and play this.

Its a shame that the whole server isn't converted to English, just some parts are :(

It's a shame you didn't learn german to play a german server. x_x

It's a German server aimed at German players. The little English translations are there for non-Germans...atleast they're making an effort.

They go on servers...and try to make them work with all languages?

Those people are just helping others, not make it work with all languages.
The thing is we cant user the right characters for them to translate.

Yes, they going to translate it into english, so also non germans can play it.
It's sad to see some people bashing them for not finishing it yet. They did a great job with this relaunch and are still working on the translation.

It clearly wasn't a bash. I think the ":(" gave it a softer tone. If anything, it was clearly a compliment. He wants to play it, but cant due to the language barrier.

The server is looking great, it'd be nice if there was more advertising for Graal in Germany, this could be their official server. Personally I think it's going to be far too much work to make the server for both English and German players, perhaps they should just stick with their original roots, I don't know.
