I'm interested in learning GScript. I understand the basics and I can script basic systems.

Could anyone give me a point in the right direction in how I would learn more and improve my scripting?

Get someone to let you mess around on their server. I sit down and mess around with scripts on servers(the cleaner, ie, less stuff, on the server, the better), and use the wiki for reference until I get what I want. Also, don't be ashamed to ask questions. I know there's a few people who get tired of me IMing them with scripting questions :P

I can, and I will. Only thing I really ever got help with, was when GS2 was released and Skyld help me "convert" to GS1 - but only the basics.

Novo taught me the concepts but let's just say he did it in an extremely crappy way: he drop-kicked me into Relic and said, 'go for it'. After I learned what an 'object' was, I was pretty much on my own :x.

I also recoded it...again.

It would be a lot easier to learn if documentation was the same as commands.rtf. The wiki sucks for learning on your own because it doesn't tell you a damn thing other than if you need to put a string, integer, or array and such. It just isn't informative enough, a whole tutorial isn't necessary, just an idea of what the hell commands do and what values you need to supply.

Stefan make a scripting language and doesn't bother to document it :(

Perhaps Skyld's one is more appropriate for you then.

Too bad there's very little on it.

Maybe if someone actually HELPED me and Skyld to update it.. :\

I found that hilarious because it isn't far from something Novo would do. If you want a GOOD TEACHER then you need to ask Hell Raven. He taught me how to script. Because neither Novo or Inverness are 'teachers' at heart. xD
