Rp Journal
 

This idea was originally going to be used for Litheria but due to circumstances, Litheria may never see light.

Basically, I started to make a system which allowed to have automatic journal entries in RP style language. Players could choose what events they wished to have logged to their journal. Players can then edit the journal entries to add/remove certain content or to make whatever changes they feel is necessary. You could also used the journal entries to write into a scripted diary. An example of an entry could be when you gain a level or kill a rat.

You could write a kind of bio about yourself which all players can read in-game (public section of diary/journal) while keeping other stuff private. With both entries, it would be cool if you could upload some of your content to the server/ some section of the GK website to share your stories with the Graal RP community. The website addition would be particularly cool as players could help create the environment of graal and you could also showcase entries of the week and such. You could also hold contests for the best journal/diary that week.

While I hope I can eventually finish Litheria off and offer a new ground for role players, this is the best I can do right now.

Interesting but not everyone on GK RPs, and alot of people have seen better days in RP that have not been fully remembered or logged...

That's why you should have a choice about what logs. If you want nothing to log: then don't enable it.

I like the idea I've had many good rp moments which i've forgot and i might not have with a easy way to record them, I think this will really boost the rp on gk.

I'd use the journal to record levelling, good quotes from players, my view on a battle/fight/spar, client information and their order including date and time of delivery, important events, event victories, crafting/winning of rare items and alot more. I'd support this idea completely, perhaps there could be the option of publishing your journal, so you get a hard copy of it to give to people, you can edit the copy (so no one see's client information, that is confidential :mad:). Could have it like a book also so you can select the chapters/dates instead of pushing f2 and reading some long arse journal to get to one day...
