Stave GFX
I currently made a stave GFX. Took me awhile to really do it, and I would some opinions on it. I made the sprites. Each sprite is about 24 degrees apart, making a full rotation, but I'll just show the icon for now. It may look a little but, but its not meant to really be that small. Just let me know what you think of it, give me some CC

Thank you all for shutting down Thrash's comment. When I first saw that right after I posted, I felt like the GFX sucked and was ready to take the thread down :x
Now I just see he is a d***. If anyone has any constructive criticism, feel free to post it. Will help tons :) |

Eh dont mind Thrash guys, He just likes to talk crap about other peoples GFX because he knows how badly his suck. P.S. Thrash.. you have staves coming from your ass? You sound pretty confused about your sexuality bro.
But, anyways.. As for the Stave. The lines are nice and it has much potential.. Really the only problem that I have with it is that it seems too off in the detailing.. You have one part alot more detailed than any other parts and it gives it a wierd feeling in my eyes. I would advise that you try to detail more on the outter parts of the stave.. It seems like you just put alot of attention into shading the globe part of it and barely paid attention to shading the other parts nicely. |

Work on your shading.

I misread this as "Steve GFX", and wasn't exactly sure what I was going to find here. The more common singular usage is staff. =P
Anyway, it looks pretty good. I like the gem in the center, but I'm not sure whether that point on it is actually on top of the gem itself, or coming from behind it. If it's an arc like the two on the sides, then it'd be an awfully odd looking staff, since the arcs seem to be spaced 90 degrees apart. Makes me think there should be a fourth one in the front. Otherwise, you'd have to change the angle of the ones on the sides a bit, to make things seem more even. (Not an easy feat when you're working in 2D) |
