Map Day
 

The map donation has been very healthy. Not as many 1's as I would have liked to see, and a lot more 2's, but other then that there's a lot of maps.

Map day basically consists of me sitting in a shop on main with a million or so maps. The members of Zormite participating in map day come to me either alone, or in groups. (preferably groups) and I'll assess their capabilities as best as I can and assign them a map.

They go out, complete the map, keep the treasure they come, bring me back the body parts, and I send them off on another map.

I'll give the full rules and how things are going to work when I start handing them out.

This event is supposed to keep the lower levels and intermediate players in Zormite busy with a whole bunch of maps. Advanced Zormites are welcome to attend, but understandably higher level maps are in much shorter supply and won't be handed out as much. But you're still welcome to help out beginners with maps that are hard for them alone.

Time is still 'undetermined'. Most likely I will try to do this in patches throughout the day.

EDIT: Oh yeah... and also looking for volunteers who can point out all the map spots to those not familiar with them.

And bring you own shovels. I'm not bringing spares.

UPDATE: Today! Will be done in bits and pieces during the afternoon, and probably for a good chunk of tonight. If you can't make it, don't worry. There will be plenty more in the future.

Time to start registering with me in game. Since this IS going to be an ingame event, I won't accept forum PM registrations. If you have friends who you know will make it, but aren't online yet, there's no problem if they register later.

I just want people to start registering now so I'm not swamped 10 minutes before the event starts.

Low-level maps are an inefficient way of gaining exp. That's why nobody uses them. Lords and even the underground dungeon are far better.

Hee hee. My people are dense on the forums.

I'm only going to remind everyone one last time. Exp isn't the main goal here. Oh it'll be very nice to get exp, but its not the main goal.

And no, I'm not going to go into any significant detail until after the event.
