Graalshop image transfers
I've been trying to the longest to transfer my images into the graal shop for the longest. Ive transfered them as .png, .gif, and even .mng. I saved them in the ganis folder and the images folder. I made my own folder in the images folder and saved it in there as well, I even took a recent images from the levels/images folder and saved it under another name, same image and dimensions and all, still didnt work.. None of my images never shows up in graal shop. Anyone know what the problem may be?

Well, make sure there 8-bit Images (256 Colors) no 24 -bit. 2nd, drag the whole image onto graal shop. and 3rd go to and click add sprite definitions, and then find the image(s) then load then do the add sprite button thing

Also delete FILENAMECACHE.txt in your graal folder
|
How about when you want to transfer them to your graal editor...they still have to be 8 bit?
|
1, 8 or 24 bit png, gif or mng
Easiest way is if you see the image in-game, then they will work in graalshop, I always do that |
Ok. Last question..is it possible to put flash media into the game? Like if i create something off my Flash MX can i somehow get it to show up on my playerworld?

yes you can use Flash in GUI's, wiki has documentation on how, wiki.graal.net. Also to see the images in your Editor/Graalshop they MUST be 8-bit. But 24-bit png will appear in the online mode but not the offline mode.

Ahh
So this will make the flash run online or in the client?
|
Flash will only work online.
