Some tiles

Just some tiles I started working on for someone. I'm aware the grass has some redundancy issues, and I'll go back and fine tune that, though if the grass is broken up enough with detailing it shouldn't be that noticeable. I also know the dirt has a pattern, but after noticing it, I thought it looked pretty fitting for dirt. If it doesn't look that great, go ahead and say though.

I quite like it!
But I never liked set tile parts.
Cant you make the rock editable?
So you can customize more with the tiles?

Make the grass blend better then it will look perfect

9/10

Hm, being completely honest, the whole thing just looks too patternish. =/

Redoing the grass and dirt.
The grass consists of 2 tiles, and for the image I tiled them
XO
OX
But they're tile-able in any combination, and should hopefully eliminate any grid.

I like the grass... looks like you've added more depth to it since the first one. Doesn't look as patterny either. :)

As usual, Dusty, you put everyone else to shame!

Here, did a quick addition on the transition and rocks. I'll probably go back over the transitions and blend them more 'grass-like' later.
Also, I don't really see the point in making the rocks NPCs instead of tiles, they're never moved, and it saves on stacking useless NPC's in the level.

Looks excellent, but if you ask me, the grass (and perhaps even the dirt?) looks a bit too cartoonish.

I see a grid D:
Also, the dirt looks more like thick, sticky sand xD make it darkerhttp://packet34.com/spacer.jpg

The reason I picked such bright dirt is it contrasts nicely with the grass, especially when you get into the transition area, though I will darken it a little.

For some reason the grass makes my eyes get confused and it makes it look wrong etc... :(

weird..

But I love the rocks..!
