Re enabling my old server.
 

I am ready to purchase another subscription for my server, Sequence. It has been almost 2 years since I have paid for it and I was wondering if all of my content will come back.

Once a server goes offline because of payments, im pretty sure it's the Owners responsibility to back-up the files. I'm not completely sure on this though, i will ask around if no responses come in.

Well i know Stefan and them keep a backup of certain servers. I am not sure if he would have yours from two years ago. But you can send a support ticket and ask = )

I repaid for a server 1 year later and he gave me all the backups :D

From there responses, im guessing by just re-paying for your server wouldn't get you the backups.

Once you've paid for your server, create a support ticket at the support center, the link is in my profile.

I think it would be more wise to create the ticket first to see if the data is still there. Thanks!

I guess my assumptions of you purchasing the server regardless of if you could retrieve backups or not, was wrong.

I'm quite sure the server files are kept for 3 or 5 years, I have a vague memory of Stefan or Unixmad saying so a while back.

This is true. All servers are backed up fair long time.
