Test Level with Delt's new Tileset REMAKE
 

Screwed the last thread up bad.

Just something I was playing around with to see what Delt's new tileset could do, since I havent made anything in forever. I was pretty impressed with the amount of detail I could get out of it.

I wouldnt consider this level complete, but I dunno if I'll ever finish it or not.

I like this, alot actually. Nice ^^.

Updated, bit more detailed, still maybe not complete, but I added some stuff that was on the tileset that I overlooked before.

I like the level, especially the top part of it. But I have to admit the middle part of the level is pretty bare, but you did say it was incomplete so I can't really criticize that :p. All and all its good!

Btw: Levels looks decent so far. Would like to see it finished.

the grass should be more detailed since the wall has bricks etc...

Hehe, I made a test level with Delteria's tiles too. This is from 2006...figured now's a good time since the tileset and public and this thread is here anyway. Not sure if this was the finished version...

Well since I'm getting pretty good feedback on this I'll post a finalized version a bit later with full detailing.

I'm glad somebody knows how to layer the varied thicknesses of grass.

That's pretty decent man, though it could have used some more detailing.

If someone could send me the level again I'd make it much nicer heh.

You know, it's surprising no other classic tileset server has thought to take the plump grass tiles and throw them together to make thicker grass. It makes sense, and looks quite decent with the classic tiles.

Yeah after seeing Crono's level I'm going to implement that into mine as well.

Finish the level and then post it.

I think it's done now, I guess the middle/bottom still feels a bit empty, but I don't want any more clutter.

I'm working for Delt a little bit now, so maybe I'll make something else worth posting.

the basic grass tile tiles badly. it looks like a square repeated over and over. Someone should go over it in paint so it looks smoother.

I like it, Delteria really made the tileset nice..

I like it! Very very nice job - love the marsh upon marsh tiles :D
